With a clamping slot and a cylindrical, appropriately eccentric bore
Clamping sleeve for turning or drilling steels.
For DreÍ1stählo round in cross-section there is a handy, well-proven clamping device, which consists in that a sleeve 1, provided with many facets 2, an eccentric through hole. 9 has to introduce the round steel, from which bore a clamping slot 4 leads tangentially to the outside. When this sleeve 1 is screwed tight in any position of the slot 4, it narrows resiliently over the inserted round steel and holds it immovably. The bore 3 is therefore eccentric in order - within certain limits - to be able to give the lathe tool the desired height for setting the cutting edge. One or more narrow slots 5 in the meat of the sleeve 1 favor the suspension.
This tool holder, which has proven itself in use for round steels, has the one major disadvantage that it can only be used for steels with a round shaft and a certain diameter.
The subject matter of the present invention is a K) emmhü, which is to be introduced into the sleeve 1 as previously the round steel, that is to say likewise cylindrical on the outside! se 6 with clamping slot 7, which contains an either central or also eccentric bore 8, the cross-section of which has that of the angular turning or drilling steel to be clamped, ie either square, rectangular, even triangular or polygonal cross-section.
When the outer sleeve 1 is clamped shut, the inner clamping sleeve 6 is also resiliently narrowed and the tool (turning tool, planing steel or drill, etc.) is fixed. This inner clamping sleeve 6 also guarantees the further advantage that steels with a weaker cross-sectional height can also be clamped if one or more Hpiltgen is inserted. So z. B. can also be clamped a square steel in a clamping sleeve 6 with a rectangular opening with the insertion of inserts.
