Die meisten der jetzigen Farbworke mit zwei und mehr Auftragwalzen für Buekdruck- schnellpressen heben den Nachteil, dass die vorderste Auftragwalze ihren Zweck, die Form

Dies erklärt sich aus dem Bestreben, im Interesse einer gedrängten Bauart der Maschine den Karrenweg so kurz als möglich zu halten und demzufolge auch die Form nur sehr wenig aus dem Bereich der vordersten Auftragwalze hinausgehen zu lassen. Der die genannte Auftragwalze mit Farbe versehende Stahlreiber ist gegenüber der Auftragwalze so angeordnet, dass letztere mindestens eine halbe Umdrehung ausführen muss, bis die frisch mit Farbe versehene Partie ihres Umfanges der Form gegenüber zu liegen kommt.
Das hat zur Folge, dass sich die Auftragwalze beim Karrenwechael nicht so weit gedreht hat, um die rückgohende Form vollständig wieder mit frischer Farbe zu versehen.
Diesem Übelstand abzuhelfen, ohne den Bau der Maschine zu verlängern, ist das den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende Farbwerk für Buchdruckschnellpressen berufen. Das Farbwerk besitzt zu diesem- Zweck einen, fortlaufend mit frischer Farbe versehenen Stahlreiber, der so weit vor bzw. gegen die Form herunter zu gelagert ist, dass sich die vorderste Auftragwalze beim Karrenwechsel nur um einen kleinem Teil ihres Umfanges drehen muss, um vollständig wieder von dem Stahlreiber mit frischer Farbe versehen zu werden.
Auf der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung beispielsweise veranschaulicht. Der grosse Reib- zylinder'a überträgt die Farbe durch die Zwischenwalze b auf den Stahlreiber c, der seinerseits wieder die Auftragwalze d so speist, dass sich dieselbe nach Verlassen der
Form e nur um einen kleinen Teil ihres Umfanges drehen muss, um vollständig wieder frische Farbe vom Stahlreiber c zu erhalten und beim Rückgang der Form e letztere wieder voll einzufärben.

To remedy this inconvenience without lengthening the construction of the machine, the inking unit for letterpress high-speed presses, which is the subject of the present invention, is called upon. For this purpose, the inking unit has a steel scraper, continuously provided with fresh paint, which is stored so far in front of or against the form that the foremost applicator roller only has to turn a small part of its circumference when changing the cart in order to completely restore it to be provided with fresh paint by the steel driver.
