Inking unit for stencil printing presses with rotating stencil drum.
The subject of the master patent is an inking unit for stencil printing presses with a rotating stencil drum, in which the printing ink is fed to the inside of the stencil drum by means of a swingable inking roller, which alternately receives ink from the rotating inking roller and rolls on the inside of the stencil drum.
In the design according to the parent patent, the inking roller made of felt takes along a thick strip of paint along its entire length when it swings away from the inking roller and transfers this to the printing drum as it rolls. Since the circumference of the application roller is usually three to four times smaller than
EMI1.1
Roll off the individual copy three to four times on the driven surface and the mentioned color stripe of the applicator roller appears accordingly on the imprint three to four times in the form of a clearly protruding heel stripe.
This inconvenience is now overcome in the sense of the present invention in that the ink transfer device is formed from two rollers in frictional engagement carried by the common swing frame, one of which takes the ink from the ink roller in order to transfer it to the second roller, which as the actual application roller is on the inner surface of the printing drum

Evenly distributed around the circumference of the actual applicator roller, the latter is always evenly coated with paint and there cannot be any color deposits on the print.
In the drawing, the parts of a schahlon printing press according to the parent patent which are considered for the present invention are illustrated, namely Fig. 1 shows an end view, of the ink container with the ink roller, the two transfer rollers with the upper part of the oscillating frame and a segment of the printing drum.
The two ink transfer rollers 0, a are in traverses d of the common
