EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The present invention relates to a drive for fast rotating disks of horse games or the like, which works by switching by means of a toothed wheel and tooth segment and is set up so that a switching can be carried out gradually, without braking the disk after each Circuit to have to fear back rotating tooth segment.
This has been achieved in that the toothed segment is rotatably arranged on a swingable lever arm, which usually keeps the same out of engagement with the gear wheel by spring action and at the same time carries the drive element for the toothed segment which, when the lever arm swings out in
EMI1.2
Toothed segment after its engagement in the gearwheel and after its rotation by its drive element upon sudden release of the lever arm immediately disengaged from the gearwheel or brought out of its path so that it can continue to run with the disc without being hindered by the toothed segment rotating backwards . It is thus possible to achieve an extremely high speed of rotation of the disk.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the drive in FIG. 1 in plan view and in FIG. 2 in side view and section.
In the case shown, the drive is installed in a round housing, in the center of which the disk b is rotatably mounted by means of the drive wheel c. It consists of the

lower end against an approach a of arm e. This is rotatably mounted on a lever arm h and provided with a slot i, in which the pin j of the toothed segment d, which is also rotatably mounted on the lever arm A, engages. The lever arm h is rotatably mounted on the base plate of the housing a at k and is supported by the helical spring
