Verfahren zur Darstellung von wasserlöslichen grünstichig-blauen Farbstoffen der Anthrachinonreihe.
Durch das Stammpatent Nr. 70643 ist die Darstellung von wasserlöslichen grünstichig-blauen Farbstoffen durch Erhitzen von 1-Amino-4-halogenanthrachinon-2-sulfosäuren mit aromatischen Aminen, Wasser und Kupfer oder Kupferverbindungen bei Gegenwart oder Abwesenheit säurebindender Mittel geschützt. In dem ersten Zusatzpatente Nr. 73006 wurde das Verfahren dahin abgeändert, dass das als Katalysator wirkende Kupfer ausgeschlossen sein soll.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass in dem obigen Verfahren 1-Amino-4-halogenanthrachinon- -2-sulfosäuren mit gutem Erfolge durch-1-Aminohalogenanthrachinon-6- oder -7-sulfosäuren (vagi. deutsche Patentschrift Nr. 114262) ersetzt werden können. Man erhält wertvolle Farbstoffe, die Wolle grünstichig-blau färben. Dieses Ergebnis war überraschend, weil nach der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 119326 durch Erhitzen dieser Aminohalogen- anthrachinonsulfosäuren mit aromatischen Aminen violette bis graublaue Farbstoffe entstehen, was in der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 183395 mit der erforderlichen hohen Reaktionstemperatur in Zusammenhang gebracht wird. Man konnte also nicht voraussehen, dass bei Gegenwart von Wasser eine wesentlich niedrigere Temperatur für den Eintritt der Kondensation genügen würde.

The production of water-soluble greenish-blue dyes by heating 1-amino-4-halogenanthraquinone-2-sulfonic acids with aromatic amines, water and copper or copper compounds in the presence or absence of acid-binding agents is protected by the parent patent No. 70643. In the first additional patent no. 73006, the process was changed so that the copper acting as a catalyst should be excluded.
It has now been found that in the above process 1-amino-4-halogenanthraquinone-2-sulfonic acids can be replaced with good results by -1-amino-halogenanthraquinone-6- or -7-sulfonic acids (vagi. German Patent No. 114262) . Valuable dyes are obtained which dye wool a greenish blue. This result was surprising because, according to German Patent No. 119326, by heating these aminohalogenanthraquinone sulfonic acids with aromatic amines, violet to gray-blue dyes are formed, which is associated with the high reaction temperature required in German Patent No. 183395. So one could not foresee that in the presence of water a significantly lower temperature would be sufficient for condensation to occur.
