EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The cementing effect of gaseous carbon compounds has been known per se for a long time. So far it has been considered particularly advantageous to use strained gaseous carbon compounds for this purpose. However, this often caused explosions in such ovens.
The invention described below avoids this drawback by taking a completely new approach.
In the new method, in a known manner, by preheating the carbonic gases or vapors used for cementation in the carbonization chamber, the insert parts first hit by them are prevented from cooling and thus uneven cementation thereof. The pipes or the like used for preheating are dimensioned according to the invention in such a way that no substantial tension in the gases or vapors can occur. The carbon dioxide gas or steam passing through the carbon dioxide is then, which is known per se, used for heating. According to the invention, however, by means of blower air (acting like an injector) which also serves as combustion air, from the Koh! uagsraum vacuumed.
The suction effect of the blower air creates a pressure in the carbonization chamber that is below atmospheric pressure. This causes a reduction in the i. iie heating any voltage that occurs in the gases or vapors. The flow rate of the carbonizing gases or vapors and thus the cementation effect is increased by the suction effect of the blower air. which also make the evaporation liquid

early on the further supply of the carbonic gases or vapors. thus eliminating any risk of explosion.
