<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

The present invention relates to a cable car system with a self-contained carrying and conveying rope, which is guided in the end stations via drive or deflection wheels, and with driving means of operation, such as cabins and
Armchairs, each of which can be fastened to the carrying and conveying rope by means of a hanger bar, a bearing being provided at the lower end of the hanger bar, in which the driving equipment is rotatably mounted about an at least approximately vertical axis.
A cable car system is known from AT-Ul2469, in which the driving equipment, in particular the cable car cabins, can be rotated relative to the hanger rods. This rotatability of the driving equipment has the special effect that the users of the cable car system can view the entire landscape without restriction.
The object of the present invention is to improve this known cable car system in several respects in order to better meet the requirements for the desired comfort than is the case with the known cable car system. This is achieved according to the invention in that the articulation of the bearing on the hanger rod is designed with a damping device. This damping device ensures that shocks occurring during the movement of the driving equipment via rope pulleys are largely damped, so that these are not perceived by the passengers.
An approximately horizontally aligned bar is preferably arranged at the lower end of the support rod, to which the ends of damping elements are articulated, the other ends of which are articulated to the bearing.
This measure achieves an optimally damped suspension of the driving equipment in a simple manner.
The drive motor is preferably arranged on the roof of the cable car cabin.
Furthermore, the driving resources, in particular the cable car cabins, are preferably designed with a battery and with solar elements for feeding the battery.

The object of the invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:
Fig.l a cable car cabin in a cable car system according to the invention, in
Front view, and
2 shows a detail of this cable car cabin, in an enlarged view compared to FIG
Scale.
As can be seen from the list, there is a cable car cabin 2 at the lower end of a hanging bar 1. A clamping device 11 and a running gear 12 are arranged at the upper end of the hanging bar 1. By means of the
Clamping device 12 allows cable car cabin 2 to be attached to the carrying and conveying rope
10 of the cable car system can be coupled. In the stations, the cable car cabin 2 can be uncoupled from the carrying and conveying cable 10, whereby it is moved along guide rails through the boarding areas or through the boarding areas by means of the carriage 12. Between the hanger rod 1 and the cable car cabin 2 there is also a suspension, which is explained in more detail below with reference to FIG. 2 and has a bearing 3, as a result of which the cable car cabin 2 can be rotated about an approximately vertical axis relative to the hanger rod 1.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, an approximately vertically oriented bearing sleeve 31 is articulated to the lower end of the hanger rod 1 by means of a bolt 14, which can be pivoted relative to the hanger rod 1 about the approximately horizontal bolt 14. A pivot 32 protrudes from below into this bearing sleeve 31, the cable car cabin 2 being fastened to the lower end thereof. As a result, the cable car cabin 2 is rotatably mounted about a vertical axis with respect to the hanger rod 1. Furthermore, a support device 4 is provided at the lower end of the pivot 32, at the free ends of which the cable car cabin 2 is fastened by means of damping elements 41.
In addition, an approximately horizontally aligned support beam 5 is provided at the lower end of the hanger rod 1, to which the one ends are articulated by two shock absorbers 51. The other ends of the shock absorbers 51 are hinged to the bearing sleeve 31. This shock absorber 51 dampens the pivoting movement of the cable car cabin 2 around the bolt 14.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Furthermore, on the roof 21 of the cable car cabin 2 there is an electric motor 6 which interacts via a double worm gear 61 and a drive pinion 62 with a ring gear 33 rigidly attached to the bearing sleeve 31.
Since the bearing sleeve 31 cannot be rotated, the drive of the electric motor 6 rotates the cable car cabin 2 about the approximately vertically oriented axis of rotation of the bearing 3.
Furthermore, a control unit 7 for the electric motor 6, a battery and solar cells 71, through which the battery is fed, are provided in the cable car cabin 2.
Such a cable car cabin meets the requirements with regard to the desired comfort.
In an analogous manner, the chair of a cable car system can also be attached to the hanger bar so that it can rotate.
