  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Glasringen. 



   Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, durch Einschleifen von V-förmigen Furchen in die Innenwand von Glasröhren einzelne, schon mit je zwei Innenfacetten versehene Ringe herzustellen. 



   Bisher wurden die Glasröhren zuerst in einzelne Ringe zerlegt, durch Ankerbung der Trennstellen mittels Sprengscheibe oder durch Anritzen mittels Diamanten oder Stahlrädchens und nachfolgende Erhitzung. 



   Dann erst wurde das Abschleifen der scharfen Sprengränder vorgenommen, indem geübte Schleifer den Ring unter geschicktem Drehen so an den rotierenden Schleifstein hielten, dass die Innenkante schräg abgeschliffen wurde, worauf die andere Kante des Ringes in gleicher Weise behandelt werden musste. 



   Die vier beschriebenen Arbeitsphasen des Einkerbens oder Anritzens, des Sprengens durch Erhitzen, des Abschleifens der einen, dann der anderen Kante werden nun durch die vorliegende Erfindung in eine einzige vereinigt, indem in die Innenwand der   Glasröhre   an den beabsichtigten Trennstellen ringsum   V-förmige   Furchen mittels Schleifscheibchens   eingeschlinen   werden, wodurch gleichzeitig die Herstellung von zwei Innenfacetten und die Abtrennung des Ringes von der   Glasröhre erfolgt.   



   Ist die Furche nicht tief genug gewesen, die völlige Lostrennung des Ringes zu bewirken. so kann letztere durch Stoss oder durch Erhitzen leicht vollzogen werden. 



   Das Verfahren ist vorzüglich geeignet, die Einstellung des Scheifscheibchens, das Vor rücken um je eine Trennstelle, die Regelung der   Umdrehung   sowohl des Schleifscheibchens als auch der Glasröhre automatisch zu bewirken. In keinem Falle sind zu   dessen Durchführung   geschulte Kräfte nötig ; all dies im Gegensatze zu dem bisher   übhchen Verfahren.

   The subject matter of the present invention is a process for producing individual rings already provided with two inner facets by grinding V-shaped grooves into the inner wall of glass tubes.

   Only then was the sharp edges of the split grinded by experienced grinders holding the ring against the rotating grindstone while skilfully turning it so that the inner edge was sanded at an angle, after which the other edge of the ring had to be treated in the same way.
