Incandescent lamp for liquid fuels.
In the case of incandescent lamps for liquid fuels, two conditions must be met in order to ensure that they function correctly over the long term: on the one hand, preventing the entry of fuel in liquid form into the carburetor and discharging the fuel condensed in the latter, and on the other hand, correct supply of outside air to the carburetor nozzle Strength and direction. Through both measures in combination, the complete combustion of only vaporous fuel necessary for a calm and white glowing flame is achieved with simultaneous wind safety.
According to the present invention, in the case of incandescent lamps of the type that are provided with an inclined carburetor and a vertically downward-pointing nozzle, the carburetor is downward beyond the Urennston'zufuhrsteHe to achieve the stated purpose
EMI1.1
which, in the event of a leak in the fuel supply, prevents fuel flowing out from entering the carburetor, and fuel condensed in the latter can flow off.
Waters is the lamp draw tube with a double. Equipped with protective sheaths with overflow openings at opposite ends, in order to direct the outside air in a zigzag wave and finally through a lieguliervorrichtung in parallel
EMI1.2
The upper end of the carburetor tube is in a known manner through the bore i with the steam tube b and this through holes j of the superheater tube c with its interior in connection; the fuel vapor cleaned by a filter k enters
EMI1.3
So that the combustion air to be supplied is introduced into the mixing tube in calm jets parallel to the fuel jet from the nozzle and directed in the same direction, the draft tube 0 is surrounded by a double tubular jacket p, q and the outer jacket tube p has air inlet slots r in its lower peripheral part, while the Inner jacket tube q is provided with such slots s in its upper parts. On the other hand, the incoming air is forced into a zigzag path and flows downwards parallel to the fuel jet of the nozzle.

In order to be able to precisely regulate the calm flow of air brought about in this way, depending on the condition of the outside air, it is also guided by a regulator, which consists of a fixed ring with holes, slots or cutouts inserted between the draw tube and the inner jacket an above or below superposed rotatable ring u of the same type, which is adjustable from the outside. When the air is calm, the passage openings are completely exposed, when the outside air is moving or the storm is more or less throttled, and in this way stronger or finer air jets are fed to the fuel jet or the mixing tube.
