Disc wheel drive for seed drills with upper and lower outlet.
The invention relates to a drive device for seed drills, in which disc gears or friction wheels are used to drive the seeding shaft. Such transmissions are already known; however, these drive devices have the disadvantage that they can only be used to change the speed of rotation of the sowing shaft, but not its direction of rotation.
The novelty of the present device is that the toothed or friction wheel that drives the sowing shaft over the entire diameter of the disc
EMI1.1
change the speed of the sowing shaft.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the device in a front view, FIG. 2 shows a
Cut.
The bevel gear k, which meshes with the bevel gear i of the shaft h, sits on the drive shaft l. The shaft h is arranged in front of the disk b and is below the inlet

is held. The shaft itself can be brought into disengagement with the gear k by lifting the arm 111. A guide rod n is arranged parallel to the shaft h. on which adjustable by means of the holder p the seated on the shaft h or
EMI1.3
serves the flight screw r. The disc b is guided on rollers 9 of the wall a of the seed box and sits on the shaft c, which drives the seed shaft through the pair of gears d and e.
If the machine is to be switched from undersown to overseed, the roll o should be brought from the lower half of the disc to the upper half. For this purpose
EMI1.4
In the above it has been emphasized that by adjusting the drive gear. s o the tooth or friction disc b can not only be passed from the top seed to the undersown, but also that the speed of rotation of the Saatweilp is changed at the same time, so that the seed rate can be changed
The drive shaft 1 for the bevel drive gear k is of course the wheel axle of the Säma-ichine and the bevel gear k is placed on the bicycle hub in the practical embodiment.
In Fig. 2 of the drawing, the axis l is shown cut off smoothly on the face of the bevel gear k for the sake of simplicity.
