Verfahren zur Darstellung von Isopren.
In dem Stammpatent Nr. 58733 ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Isopren beschrieben, welches darin besteht, dass man as-Dimethylallen bei höherer Temperatur und zweckmässig im Vakuum über Tonerden oder tonerdehaltige Materialien leitet, wobei sich das Dimethylallen unter Verschiebung der beiden Doppelbindungen im Molekül in das isomere Isopren umlagert.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass sich in analoger Weise auch das ähnlich konstituierte Isopropylazetylen in Isopren überführen lässt, indem sich die dreifache Bindung des ersteren in zwei konjugierte Doppelbindungen umwandelt.
Beispiel :
Ein heizbares, mit Tonerde in Stücken beschicktes Rohr wird einerseits mit einem Tropftrichter, andererseits mit einer auf - 80 gekuhlten Vorlage und diese wiederum mit einer Vakuumpumpe verbunden. Nachdem der Apparat evakuiert und das Rohr auf 4000 erhitzt ist, lässt man Isupropylazetylen (Siedepunkt 28 ) derart in das Rohr eintropfen, dass ein Vakuum von 40 bis 50 mm bestehen bleibt. In the parent patent no. 58733 a process for the preparation of isoprene is described, which consists in passing as-dimethylallene at a higher temperature and conveniently in a vacuum over alumina or alumina-containing materials, with the dimethylallene shifting the two double bonds in the molecule in the isomeric isoprene rearranges.
It has now been found that the similarly constituted isopropylazetylene can also be converted into isoprene in an analogous manner by converting the triple bond of the former into two conjugated double bonds.
Example:
A heatable tube filled with alumina in pieces is connected on the one hand to a dropping funnel and on the other hand to a receiver cooled to -80, which in turn is connected to a vacuum pump.
