<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

The invention relates to a base plate for the production of concrete blocks or the like. With a wooden core, which is clad with a steel plate. Concrete blocks or other shaped bodies are usually produced on base plates, which also represent the bottom surface of the corresponding shape. The surface of the base plates can also simultaneously represent the surface of the molded parts produced.
Underlay boards made of softwood or hardwood are currently usually used, but their service life is limited by abrasion on the surface. Plastic sheets also have an insufficient lifespan.
Solid steel plates, on the other hand, are expensive to buy and, due to their considerable weight, relatively unwieldy. On the other hand, a significantly more massive design of the entire system is required.
A formwork panel is known from EP 0 085 029 A, which consists of a wooden core with a steel sheet cladding. Such a formwork element is not suitable for the production of concrete blocks because it cannot withstand the dynamic loads of the production process.
The object of the present invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to develop a base plate of the above type in such a way that it can be produced cost-effectively, has a highly flat and smooth surface and has a long service life.
According to the invention, it is provided that steel plates are provided on both sides of the wooden core, on which retaining pins are welded, which anchor the steel plates in the wooden core.
Depending on the application, the wood core can consist of soft or hardwood and essentially provides the load-bearing structure. The steel plates resting on the wooden core, which can be made from common steels such as ST 37, ST 52 or stainless steel, ensure the hardness and abrasion resistance of the surface and thus protect the wooden core. It is essential to the present invention that an intimate connection of the steel plates with the wooden core is made by the holding pins, so that no relative movement can take place.
Another important point of the invention is that the steel plates have a continuous and smooth surface on the outside, which is not disturbed by screws or other connecting elements. In addition to a smooth surface, this ensures that liquids cannot penetrate to the wood core. Due to the planking of the wooden core with steel plates on both sides

can cause bending stresses as a result of temperature fluctuations or
Differences in humidity can be safely avoided.
The holding pins are preferably designed in the form of special nails. This enables simple production, in which the steel plates are placed on both sides of the wooden core and the special nails are driven into the wooden core by a press. The special nails have a specially trained one
Head with a tip, which favors the welding process with the steel plate.
It is essential in this manufacturing process that the contact surfaces of the
Are sufficiently hard and resistant to deformation of the press
To avoid steel plates.
Protection for the edges, which at the same time additionally secures the cohesion of the wooden core, can be achieved by providing profiles on the edges that encompass the wooden core. The profiles are preferably U-shaped or C-shaped.
The steel plates are preferably folded over at least one edge around the wooden core and at least partially cover it. A certain protrusion of the steel sheet is bent at right angles around the longitudinal edges of the wooden core and additionally fixed with special nails. As a result, the longitudinal edges cannot be damaged by transport cams or feed pawls on conveyor systems.
A special security against warping or warping can be achieved if the wooden core consists of glued planks.
The stability can be increased in particular by prestressing the steel plates. The prestressing is achieved, for example, by heating the steel plates before connection to the wood core, so that the thermal change in length causes the prestressing when cooling.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment variant of the invention it is provided that the retaining pins are arranged in a grid. In particular, it is advantageous if the holding pins of the two opposite plates are arranged offset and penetrate more than half the thickness of the wooden plate. This ensures that the holding pins or special nails of the two opposite plates do not come into conflict and the wood core is not unnecessarily weakened. This can be achieved in a production-technically advantageous manner by rotating one around 1800 when the steel sheets are placed on top.
A particularly compact structure can be achieved by pressing the steel plates onto the wooden core. At the same time, this ensures that the base plate is resistant to impressions. A
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
a further extension of the service life can be achieved in particular by providing sealing elements in the edge area between the hoist core and the steel plate. By inserting or injecting a sealing material between the wooden core and the steel plate during the production of the base plates, the inside of the wooden plate can be reliably protected against the penetration of liquids or the like.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the figures. 1 shows a schematic view of a base plate according to the invention from above, FIG. 2 shows a side view, and FIG. 3 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 with the grid for the nailing shown and FIG. 4 shows a section along line IV-IV in FIG Fig. 1 in the form of a
Exploded view.
The base plate consists of a wooden core 1 and an upper steel plate 2 and a lower steel plate 3. On the steel plates 2, 3, special nails 4 are welded at regular intervals, which are intended to penetrate into the wooden core 1 and establish the connection with it , In Fig. 1 are drawn with 5 grid lines, at the intersection of which the special nails 4 of the first plate 2 are arranged. The special nails 4 of the second plate 3 are offset at the intersections of the grid lines 6. An optimal configuration in terms of strength is achieved by the displacement.
From Fig. 4 it can be seen that the wooden core 1 consists of a plurality of glued planks 7. In the end area of the wooden core 1, a U-shaped profile 8 made of steel is provided, which encompasses the wooden core 1 and, in addition to an edge protection, also represents a stiffening element. Sealing elements 9 in the edge region of the wooden core 1 are pressed between the wooden core 1 and the steel plates 2, 3 in order to reliably prevent the ingress of moisture or other liquids. The steel plates 2, 3 are turned over at the longitudinal edges at 10, so that improved edge protection is also achieved in this area. The surface of the steel plates 2, 3 can be protected by an appropriate corrosion protection, such as a hard wax emulsion.
The present invention makes it possible to significantly increase the service life of the underlay panels and to improve the quality of the products produced by increasing the surface quality and achieving a uniform compaction. By eliminating the drawing plate, shorter cycle times and shorter vibrating times can be achieved in the production of concrete parts. The underlay sheets according to the invention can also be cleaned in a simple manner.
