Foundation for masts for electrical lines or the like.

The subject of the invention is a foundation in which foundation plates made of concrete are installed in the base of the mast, generally a frame. These plates ensure the stability of the mast by transferring the forces acting on the mast to the ground so that the mast cannot tilt.

In the drawings, the foundation in FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown in two embodiments in elevation, partially in section, and in FIGS. 3 and 4 in corresponding floor plans. a is the foundation plate made of concrete, which can be provided with inserts b made of iron or the like, as required. The plates are connected in a suitable manner to the foot of the mast shown broken off in the drawing. For example, U-iron c can be provided at the foot of the mast, into which the previously completed concrete slabs are inserted and poured and poured under in a known manner. But you can also stamp out the space between the U-irons on the spot after erecting the mast with concrete.

Depending on requirements, the plates are arranged either, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, only on two sides, or, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, on all four sides of the mast foot. The whole is then, as indicated in the drawing, submerged to a suitable depth. The dimensions of the plates and the number of inserts that may be present can of course change depending on the intended use.

It can be seen that with this method of foundation, compared to the hitherto mostly common Heton blocks, very significant savings are made in concrete and only relatively small amounts are required. The excavated earth can after execution of the
The foundations can also be used here to fill in the pit, so that the costs of removal are eliminated.
