Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

The invention relates to a three-layer noise protection structure (stone in combination with a hard insulation material) for multi-lane traffic routes.
Noise protection measures along traffic routes usually provide noise protection walls made of different materials, some of which absorb and some of which reflect traffic noise, with the reflection surfaces being aligned as far as possible so that the noise is diverted into unused terrain or against the sky. Proposals are already known for (project study: interdisciplinary investigation into the design options for noise barriers on rail lines, Vienna, 1997) to build noise barriers made of aluminum, concrete, wood, plastic or so-called protective barriers.
The disadvantage of the lightweight construction systems, which fix the supports and supports of the middle wall parts to or in a substructure, and mount the sound-absorbing clothing panels on the supports, is the time-consuming retrofitting and repair, and the low resistance to environmental influences. When using the material aluminum z. B. rust plumes can form. The use of plastic has a high susceptibility to contamination.
The principle of the protective wall has the disadvantage of the high space requirement and the susceptibility to settlement.
The invention now proposes a noise protection structure with a three-layer structure, stone in combination with a hard insulating material.
On the street side, after the first layer of rock, a hard insulation material is applied, which, with the structured surfaces of the rock layers, takes over the function of sound absorption. Then another layer of rock is fixed. Stones and insulation are enclosed in wire mesh baskets of any size and mesh width and connected to each other to form a coherent wall structure.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Due to the use of stone and a hard insulation material, a high degree of absorption of the sound energy is achieved as a result of their large area-related mass. Furthermore, there is a high level of resistance and therefore a longer service life due to the use of stone.

The invention is described in more detail below with reference to the figures in the accompanying drawings, without being limited thereto.
1 shows a cross section through the design of the three-layer
2 shows a variant through the cross section of the design of the three-layered noise protection construction. FIG. 3 shows the side view of the construction of FIG. 1 facing away from the road Motorway lane 1 is provided with outer guide rails 2 and is limited by a noise protection construction. The noise protection wall consists of three layers: an inner and outer layer in stone 3, and an intermediate layer made of hard insulating material 4. The layers are enclosed in wire mesh baskets 5 of different sizes and mesh widths and connected to each other.
In the embodiment of the noise barrier shown in FIG. 2, the system with a three-layer structure, namely inside or outside layer in stone 3, and the intermediate layer made of a hard insulating material 4, on the street side 1, is increased by one meter.
3 shows the view of the noise protection structure facing away from the street. The height of the three-layer system contained in grid baskets 5 varies as required. Openings 7 for service passages or emergency call pillars in the noise barrier are left out as required.
