  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Elektroden mit alkalischem Elektrolyten. 



   Nach dem Stammpatente Nr. 53782 werden Elektroden für alkalische Sammler dadurch hergestellt, dass die wirksame Masse in Metallgaze oder   Metalltuch   von äusserster Feinheit der Maschen verrieben wird. Ein so gepastetes Metalltuch wird dann zusammengorollt und hierauf mit Draht oder Blech umwickelt. Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine andere Ausführungsform des Verfahrens, Elektroden aus mit wirksamer Masse gefülltem   Motalltuch   oder Drahtgewebe herzustellen. Es besteht darin, dass ein Stück mit wirksamer Masse gepastetes   Metalltuch   gefalzt oder gewellt wird (Fig. 1) und hienach in einer geeigneten Form zu einer festen Platte oder einem Kuchen gepresst wird, und zwar derart, dass das Metalltuch in Richtung der Wellen oder der Falzung zusammengeschoben wird. 



  Hindurch wird das Metalltuch in   Lagen aufeinandergedrückt,   so dass es einen porösen   Motallkuchf'n   bildet, in dessen Poren das aktive Material fest eingepresst ist (Fig. II). Ein   solchor Metallkuchen   wird dann mit einem Metallrahmen versehen oder in einen solchen   hineingepresst   (Fig. III).

   According to the parent patent no. 53782, electrodes for alkaline collectors are manufactured by rubbing the effective mass into metal gauze or metal cloth of extremely fine mesh. A metal cloth pasted in this way is then rolled up and then wrapped with wire or sheet metal. The present invention relates to another embodiment of the method for producing electrodes from motorized cloth or wire mesh filled with effective material. It consists in that a piece of metal cloth pasted with effective mass is folded or corrugated (Fig. 1) and then pressed in a suitable shape into a solid plate or cake, in such a way that the metal cloth in the direction of the corrugations or the Fold is pushed together.



  Through this, the metal cloth is pressed onto one another in layers, so that it forms a porous metal cake, in whose pores the active material is firmly pressed (Fig. II). Such a metal cake is then provided with a metal frame or pressed into one (Fig. III).
