Method of controlling the temperature of superheated steam.
It is known that, in a steam generator, the overheating temperature changes with the load on the steam generator, and that the overheating temperature increases with greater load.
According to the present invention, this phenomenon is used to regulate or maintain the temperature of the superheated steam, in the following manner:
It is taken from the steam boiler a through line 1 wet saturated steam, while through line 4 dry steam is removed.
The wet steam is passed through a reheater c, the pipes cl of which this wet steam passes in order to collect in the chamber c2 and to be carried on through pipe 6. The dry steam, which is freed from the water particles by an ordinary separator t in the boiler, flows through the pipe 4 and combines with the steam coming from the pipe 1, 6. which has undergone pre-drying or pre-superheating in the reheater, in the regulating element 5, in order to be passed from there through pipe 7 to the superheater. The steam superheated in b passes through the pipe 2 into the reheater c, flows around the pipes cl and passes through the line 3 to the point of use.
This steam is intended to maintain a uniform temperature and for this purpose, according to the invention, the aspiration element 5 is attached, which regulates the amount of wet steam passed through the reheater.
According to the invention, this switching element is now controlled by the amount of steam flowing through line 3 by means of a suitable apparatus e1, ie. H. influenced by the amount of steam generated by the steam boiler.
The switching element 5 is shown in section in an exemplary embodiment in FIG. It consists of a relieved rotary valve, the setting of which influences the amount of steam flowing through lines 4 and 6 in opposite directions.
If the boiler is more heavily loaded, i. H. if more steam hm flows through the apparatus e1, the temperature of the superheated steam flowing through the line 3 must be reduced in accordance with the temperature increase in the superheater.
This takes place in that the line 6 is opened more and the line 4 is correspondingly more closed. As a result, more wet steam is supplied to the reheater, which extracts correspondingly more heat from the superheated steam flowing around the reheater.
In Fig. 3, the actuating member for the regulating member 5 is shown for example in one embodiment. The administration. 9 has a throttle ring r, which causes a small pressure difference in front of and behind the throttle point.
A secondary line i is now arranged which opens into line 3 upstream and downstream of the throttle point and in which a flap k is provided, by means of which the lever 11, which is connected to the regulating member 5, is operated. The steam will endeavor to open the secondary line i by turning the flap k when it exceeds its normal speed, so that the position of the flap k depends on the flow speed of the steam and thus the amount of steam supplied to the machine.
The control device el can be attached at any point downstream of the superheater through which service steam flows.
