The pressed cellulose copper mass is now processed with 600 ci ammonia with a specific gravity of 0-888 (= 173 9 nia) to a homogeneous pulp and then 480m3 sodium hydroxide solution is added to neutralize the carbonic acid and the basic sulphate, whereby complete dissolution occurs immediately. In this way, 15% spinning solutions are easily obtained, which are particularly suitable for the manufacture of synthetic threads and the like, since the solutions are extremely viscous and stringy due to the low ammonia and high cellulose content and already contain significantly weaker precipitants than others Solutions result in formations in direct precipitation.
Lately, for the manufacture of artificial threads and the like, materials have been used which, in addition to cellulose, contain other substances of vegetable origin. The present method is also suitable for these materials and solutions.
