Description
Process for the aftertreatment of artificial threads and other cellulose structures made of viscose or other cellulose compounds. Those made from viscose or other cellulose compounds Cellulose structures obtained require post-treatment in many cases. To In the present process, this post-treatment of the precipitated cellulose threads takes place, after they have come out of the felling bath, through a bath (possibly thickened and from lime salts) sulphite pulp waste liquor and mineral acids, e.g. B. sulfuric acid. Mixtures of different acids can also be used. One uses, for example a mixture which per liter contains: 100 to 100 g concentrated sulphite pulp waste liquor and 50 to 100 g of sulfuric acid 66 ° B6. The sulphite waste liquor can in the thickened state, after it has been freed from excess lime, can be used. The fallen ones Cellulose threads and other cellulose structures show a high gloss and a good handle and are very consistent. The process can be used for all precipitated cellulose threads. It is particularly suitable for cellulose threads with a felling bath made from sulphite pulp waste liquor and ammonium salts are produced.
The aftertreatment bath has a wide effect in contrast to the previously usual one milder and calmer; its colloidal nature causes a shiny, even, non-blistered thread, which is much more difficult to soften and is resolved.
