Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
VB,-Gehalt).

Cleaning preparations, in particular for metals, glass and marble.
The subject of the present invention is a liquid repellent for cleaning and shining metal, glass and marble.
The metal cleaning agents commonly used up to now are usually compositions consisting of kiesol chalk mechanically emulsified in fatty acid, which is mixed in gasoline, benzene, solvent naphtha, various naphtha derivatives, water, spirits and the like. a. m. is resolved.
To increase the plaster. and cleaning effects are various additives, such as. B.
Carbon tetrachloride has been proposed, but which all deq showed great disadvantage of attacking metal to a greater or lesser extent, which is why such additives are objectionable despite their effect.
The method according to the present invention is based on the use of trichlorethylene as a solvent component for cleaning agents, whereby metals are kept completely bright, but not attacked.
To prepare the cleaning agent, it is advisable to proceed as follows: 500 parts of gasoline and 100 parts of stearic oil are intimately mixed. 800 to 1200 parts of finely slurried silica are then added with thorough stirring, and the mixture is stirred in until the mass shows a uniform structure. 800 to 1000 parts of trichlorethylene are then added successively. After the operation has ended, the saponification is carried out by gradually adding an ammonia solution (10 parts of solution with commercially available N / VB, content).
