enter in such a way that it is carried along between the two tracks and in this way is strongly compressed, whereby it intimately impregnates the whole mass and forms a homogeneous whole with it. The adhesive, the degree of fluidity of which can be changed as required, depending on the type of fabric and the thickness of the fleece to be impregnated, is applied by hand directly between the calender rollers or it is worn in the appropriate thickness (with the help of a on the calender attached scraper) on the fabric shortly before it comes into contact with the textile fiber web.
3. After drying in the air, the covering of the grain on the side of the fabric is then completed, if it has not been completed before the actual production of the leather; The finishing is then carried out according to the usual methods by producing the desired grain size on the grain side by pressing in order to give the artificial leather the final appearance of natural leather.
This combination of process steps makes it possible to produce extremely different types of artificial leather, both in terms of thickness and resistance, softness, etc. It is sufficient to make the appropriate choice of fabric, fibers and adhesive as required meet white. All fabrics can be used: the length and width of the product obtained correspond to the dimensions of the piece of fabric used. Any animal or vegetable fiber can be used as the fiber, provided that it has been cleaned or carded beforehand.
You bring the fibers to the

Any paints or dyes of mineral or organic nature in combination with collodion, linseed oil, gelatin, rubber, etc., can be used as varnish paint for forming the grain, as is usually done for other artificial leathers.
