Clamp insulator for electrical lines.
Clamping insulators, the clamping jaws of which are provided with grooves for the conductor wire, are connected at one end by a hinge and can be pressed together at the other end by means of a suitable device, are known.
In the subject matter of the present invention, the butt joint of the two clamping jaws containing the grooves is stepped off, whereby an exact meeting of the groove halves is achieved even in the event of an imprecise hinge connection. The fence illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention and shows FIG. 1 a plan view of the one embodiment and FIG. 2 a view thereof, seen from the front; Figs. 3 and 4 show the other embodiment in the same way.
The two clamping jaws 1 and 2 according to the first embodiment (FIGS. 1 and 2) are movably connected to one another at one end by means of a ring 3 as a hinge, while the pressing takes place at the other end by means of the two wire brackets 4 and 5.
In addition, the wire bow 4 encompasses both clamping jaws and lies in the recess 6 of the clamping jaw provided for it. On the sides facing one another, the clamping jaws 1 and 2 are stepped like a staircase and provided with grooves 7 for the electrical conduction wire. The stair-like butt joint ensures that the halves of the groove always lie exactly on top of one another, although the hinge arrangement allows displacements when open. The fastening clamp is attached to the wall by means of a wood screw guided through a screw hole 8 provided in the clamping jaw 1.
In order to prevent the fastening clamp from twisting on the wall, two lugs 9 are provided on the side facing the wall, which are pressed into the wall when the wood screw is tightened.
In the second embodiment of the clamp insulator shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the step 4 of the jaw J! provided with a screw hole 8 and is fastened perpendicular to the wall by means of a holster through the same inserted wood screw, whereby warts 9 in turn have to prevent twisting of the clamp. The clamping jaw 2 is rotatably connected to the clamping jaw 1 again by means of the ring hinge 3 at one end. The other end is pressed together by one on the clamping jaw 2

can be clamped to the seated Kxznntcrs ss.
The actuation of the exceller is done by means of a plane connected to it! Ì 10. The two grooves 7 are again brought together exactly by the stair-like arrangement.
