- a threaded hole 116 is provided in the third main surface 109c, which opens into the first conductor channel 113 and which accommodates a pressure screw 117 . It is consequently possible with the pressure screw 117 to clamp a conductor inserted into the conductor channel 113 in the terminal body 108 .
- a threaded hole 118 is provided in the third main surface 109c, which opens into the second conductor channel 114 and which accommodates a pressure screw 119, with which a conductor inserted into the conductor channel 114 can be clamped in the terminal body 108.
- FIG 2 shows the terminal 100 screwed onto the connection bolt 101.

- the pressure screw 121 is screwed from the third main surface 109c against the connection bolt 101 into the second central threaded hole 112, so that the end faces of the connection bolt 101 and the pressure screw 121 are pressed against one another and thereby mechanically brace the terminal body 108 with the connection bolt 101 and at the same time Establish good electrical contact between terminal body 108 and connecting bolt 101.
- a single pressure screw 121 is therefore sufficient to generate the contact pressure and achieve mechanical bracing on the connecting bolt.
- the first central threaded hole 111 enables an assembly person to carry out a visual inspection to check whether the clamp 100 has been screwed onto the connection bolt 101 far enough or too far.
- the insides of the conductor channels 113, 114 have an area that is provided with longitudinal ribs 122 as a surface structure.

- the areas with the surface structure are in the conductor channels 113,114 on the side opposite to the side where the pressure screw 117 or 119 enters the conductor channel 113 or 114, respectively.
- the pressure screw 117 or 119 therefore presses the conductor against the corresponding surface structure of the longitudinal ribs 122, which break up any oxide layer that may be present on the conductor and in this way promote the establishment of a good electrical contact.
- Such disturbing insulating oxide layers occur, for example, in conductors made of aluminum or aluminum alloys.
- FIG 3 1 is a perspective view of terminal 100 mounted on terminal stud 101.
- FIG. Two conductors 301 and 302 are mounted in the terminal 100 and are illustrated by short conductor sections.
- An arrow V points to figure 3 indicates a vertical direction, while an arrow H indicates a horizontal direction. This convention shall apply to all figures.
- the conductor channels 113, 114 are oriented in the horizontal direction and thereby allow a simple assembly of lines 301, 302 running horizontally.
- FIG 4 is in contrast to figure 3 the clamp 100 is screwed onto the connecting bolt 101 by means of the first central threaded hole 111, so that the conductor channels extend parallel to the connecting bolt 101 and thus enable lines 301, 302 running in the vertical direction to be easily installed.
- the horizontal and vertical connection options for the lines 301, 302 are consequently achieved with one and the same clamp 100, which is only screwed onto the connection bolt in two different orientations.
- the proposed clamp thus eliminates the need to keep different clamps in order to connect cables in different orientations with respect to the connection bolt.
- figure 5 shows the terminal 100 mounted on the connection bolt 101, with the conductor channels 113, 114 as in figure 3 are oriented horizontally.
- the connecting bolt is screwed into the second central threaded hole 112 figure 5 illustrated embodiment, a ball stud 501 is screwed into the first central threaded hole 111 in order to create further connection options for additional lines.
- figure 6 shows the terminal 100 mounted on the connecting bolt 101, with the conductor channels 113, 114 as in figure 4 are oriented vertically. With this orientation, the connecting bolt is screwed into the second central threaded hole 112 .
- a ball stud 501 is screwed into the second central threaded hole 111 in order to create further connection options for additional lines.
- FIG. 5 A comparison between the Figures 5 and 6 Fig. 5 shows that the additional ball stud 501 always has a horizontal orientation when the connecting stud has a vertical orientation, because the free central threaded hole is always oriented horizontally in this case.
- the pressure screw in 117, 119 makes direct contact with the connected conductors.
- movable pressure pieces can also be provided, which are pressed onto the conductor by the pressure screw in order to establish the electrical contact.
- the proposed terminal can be made, for example, from copper, aluminum and their alloys and other electrically highly conductive metals and their alloys.
- the connected line is not clamped directly with a pressure screw, but a movable pressure part is provided in the conductor channel in the clamp.
- a movable pressure part is provided in the conductor channel in the clamp.
Description
The invention relates to a clamp for connecting a conductor to a connection part, in particular to a connection bolt of an electrical apparatus, for example a transformer. In addition, the invention relates to an electrical apparatus with a connecting bolt onto which a terminal according to the invention is screwed.
Electrical devices such as transformers, which are used in electrical supply networks, often have connecting bolts to which electrical lines are connected, the connecting bolts being in many cases designed as threaded bolts. Specifically, such connection bolts can be found, for example, on the low-voltage side of transformers. Electrical lines are often connected to the terminal bolts with screw terminals.

Proceeding from this, an object of the present invention is to provide an alternative clamp that can be used more flexibly than previously known clamps and that can be clamped on a connection bolt in a simple manner.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes a clamp according to claim 1. The clamp has a first and a second threaded hole which cross perpendicularly. The internal threads of the first and second threaded holes match the external threads of the terminal bolt. The terminal can therefore be screwed onto the connection bolt in two different orientations. The terminal has a conductor channel along an axis that is parallel to an axial direction of the first threaded hole. The clamp has a further threaded hole for receiving a pressure screw, which opens into the conductor channel. The threaded hole is oriented perpendicular to the axis of the conductor channel. Furthermore, the clamp has a second pressure screw which is screwed into the same threaded hole as the terminal bolt but in the opposite direction as the terminal bolt. This pressure screw tightens the terminal on the connection bolt without further means being required for this, in particular no second pressure screw is necessary for this.
The design of the terminal allows one or more conductors to be connected in two different orientations with respect to the longitudinal axis of the terminal stud. Therefore, the terminal is suitable for different installation positions, eliminating the need to keep different terminals for different installation positions. During assembly, the threaded hole in which the terminal stud is not screwed allows inspection of the correct mounting of the clamp on the terminal stud. After the terminal has been fixed to the connection bolt with a pressure screw, the free threaded hole can be used to attach another connection bolt, for example a ball joint.
In an advantageous embodiment of the clamp, the conductor channel has grooves and/or projections. The structured inner surface of the conductor channel generates a high contact pressure for one in the Conductor channel recorded conductor, so that any existing oxide layers on the surface of the conductor are broken up and a good electrical contact is created.
A plurality of conductor channels are advantageously provided in the terminal, in particular two parallel conductor channels. A higher number of conductor channels allows a corresponding number of wires to be connected to the terminal.
In a preferred embodiment of the terminal, the conductor channels are arranged to the left and right of one of the two threaded holes. This configuration has proven to be particularly space-saving and expedient during assembly.
Advantageously, the first and the second threaded hole, which cross each other perpendicularly, can each be arranged centrally in a main surface of a clamp body of the clamp. This embodiment enables the terminal to be mounted symmetrically on the connecting bolt.
According to a second aspect, the invention proposes an electrical apparatus with a connection bolt onto which a terminal according to the first aspect of the invention is screwed. The electrical apparatus is, for example, a transformer, in particular the low-voltage side of a transformer.
