 EMI2.1

 EMI2.3
nur der Lichtwirkung wegen benützt werden.

 EMI2.1
separate the two rows of reflective strips so that if one is accidentally broken and the strips become loose or dislocated as a result, the other, disconnected strips remain unaffected and able to maintain their operation until the required repair is made.

The contacts 5 are held by spiral springs 11, which rest on the insulators 12 provided at each end of the housing and are firmly connected to the lead wires 13. The insulators can be made of fiber, glass or, preferably, of porcelain and are fastened to a carrier 14 by means of rivets 15. Such a carrier is provided for each isolator. These carriers are soldered to the frame and intermediate pieces 8, 9 and the ends of the central part of the reflector. The spiral spring contact 11 mentioned above is separated from the rivet 15 on the inner side by a washer made of insulating material or by not drilling out the insulator between the spring and the rivet. The lamp and reflector are connected to one another in a known manner by means of spring clips.

If the lamps are to be connected in pairs or in groups (e.g. in shop windows and shop or for general lighting purposes), it is advantageous to provide each housing 6 with flanges 18, which are a cheap and effective means for
Form attachment of lamps and reflectors. A few screws that go through holes in the flanges 18 are usually sufficient. adjust each reflector and lamp and fix it in the desired position.

The present invention now has over the previously known. and Z. B. in the English patent specification No. 15115 A. D. 1909 shown type of straight line-up of several lamps the particular advantage that a curvilinear line-up
 EMI2.2
such a curvilinear arrangement was not possible. It should be noted that the lighting can be found for both exterior and interior lighting
 EMI2.3
can only be used because of the lighting effect.
