Abstract

Light bulbs of a multi chamber vehicle lamp are inserted into a lamp carrier made of sheet metal. Conductor strips are stamped out of the sheet metal for current conduction. The lamp carrier forms a common mass connection for all light bulbs. The contacting to the respective center pole of the light bulbs is effected directly by the free end portion of the conductor strip which is stamped out from a region of the lamp carrier remote from the light bulb socket. By a deformation of the conductor strip, the end portion is placed on the center axis of the opening accommodating the light bulb, and engages the center pole of the light bulb under pretension.

The end section 15 is supported by a resilient arm 16 formed on the plate-shaped housing part 3. The support point 17 is arranged between the contact point of the end section 15 with the center pole 7 of the incandescent lamp and the U-shaped center section 14 of the Z-shape of the conductor track 6. This gives the end section 15 the effect of a double-armed lever. So that this effect of the double-armed lever is not reduced by self-resilience of the end section 15, this is made more resistant to bending by an angle 18. The main suspension is thus in the resilient and hook-shaped arm 16 and in the U-shaped middle section 14 of the Z-shape of the conductor track 6. To adjust the spring characteristic, it can be advantageous to include the section of the conductor track 6 resting on the plate-shaped housing part 3 to provide a material constriction 19. With this weaker part, however, the conductor track 6 no longer lies on the plate-shaped housing part 3.

Claims (10)

1. Vehicle light with a lamp carrier (5) which is made from a sheet-metal plate and in which are made several orifices (11) which receive the filament lamps (8) and into which the filament lamps are inserted by means of their sleeve- shaped base (12) so as to be electrically conductive, there being stamped out from the lamp carrier conductor tracks (6) which serve as electrical leads for the individual filament lamps and which are connected to a contact resting resiliently against the central pin (7) of the particular filament lamp (8), characterised in that each contact, as the end portion (15) of the conductor track (6), is stamped out from a region of the lamp carrier (5) distant from the orifice (11) receiving the filament-lamp base (12) and is brought, as a result of deformation of the conductor track (6), into the central position underneath the orifice (11) receiving the filament lamp (8).
2. Vehicle light according to claim 1, characterised in that the individual conductor tracks (6) are stamped out so as to run in a Z-shaped manner in the region of the orifices (11) for receiving the filament lamps (8), the end portions (15) being guided past the orifices (11), and the central portions (14) of the Z-shape being deformed so that the free end portions of the Z-shape are located centrally underneath the orifices (11).
3. Vehicle light according to claim 2, characterised in that the free end portions (15) are swung 180° out from the lamp carrier (5) as a result of bending of the central portion (14) of the Z-shape.
4. Vehicle light according to claim 2, characterised in that by making a hairpin fold (20) in the central portion (14) the free end portions (15) of the Z-shape are brought into the central position for receiving the filament lamps (8).
5. Vehicle light according to claim 4, characterised in that the free end portions (15) of the Z-shape are bent over (at 22).
6. Vehicle light according to claim 1, characterised in that the leg of the hairpin fold (20) adjacent to each free end portion (15) is made shorter than the other leg.
7. Vehicle light according to claim 1, characterised in that the end portion (15) of the conductor tracks (6) is stamped out so as to point away from the filament-lamp orifice (11) and is bent through 180°, in such a way that its free end rests under prestress against the central pin (7) of the particular filament lamp (8).
8. Vehicle light according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which the lamp carrier (5) and the conductor tracks (6) stamped out from this are placed on a plate-shaped housing part (3) made of plastic, characterised in that each end portion (15) of the conductor tracks (6) is supported resiliently by an arm (16) moulded to the housing part (3).
9. Vehicle light according to one or more of claims 2 to 8, characterised in that each conductor track (6) has a contraction of material (19) in front of the resiliently free end portion (15) and the deformed central portion (14).
10. Vehicle light according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that each end portion (15) of the conductor tracks (6) is profiled so that it has an angular or U-shaped cross-section.
