Der abgehobene reine Kautschuk wird durch Wasserdampf oder Natronlauge vom anhaftenden Kresol befreit und das Lösemittel durch Vakuumdestillation vom Harze getrennt, um wieder benutzt werden zu können.
An Stelle von o-Kresol kann man auch m-und p-Kresol-Phenole oder andere Substitutionsprodukte und Homologe des Phenols verwenden oder auch Gemische dieser Körper, wie sie z. B. im Kreosotöl des Steinkohlen-oder Buchenholzteers sich finden, aus dem die harzigen und kohlenwasserstoffhaltigen Anteile, die, wie Naphtalin, Gummilöser sind, abgeschieden sind, so dass das Öl einen rein sauren Körper darstellt, der in Natronlauge löslich ist.
Die genannten Lösemittel sind überdies nicht nur ihrer Billigkeit wegen, sondern auch infolge ihrer geringen Flüchtigkeit und ihrer niedrigen latenten Wärmen mit besonderem Vorteil zu verwenden.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Gewinnung von reinem Kautschuk aus harzhaitiger Rohware, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rohware mit Phenol, Kresol oder anderen hydroxylsubstituierten Benzolabkömmlingen oder deren Gemischen wie z. B. Kreosot zwecks Auslösung der Harze behandelt wird.
