Projection device for line picture apparatus.
The invention relates to a projection device for serial imaging devices and consists in that the light source in the projection tube is arranged eccentrically to its axis in a paraboloidal reflector.
This arrangement achieves a condensation of the rays sent from the light source and thus an increase in the light effect, in that, in contrast to the known apparatus, the bundle of rays has an approximately elliptical cross section and therefore passes through the elongated slot provided in the front end of the projection tube without any loss of light can.
The light source is advantageously moved as close as possible to the front end of the projection tube and can be displaced in the same as the parabolic reflector. In order to increase the condensation of the light rays, the latter consists of two paraboloidal parts, the axes of which are aligned with one another and inclined to the axis of the tube, one of which is then fixed and the other movable.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. FIG. 1 shows the projection tube in side view, FIG. 2 in horizontal section and FIG. 3 in front view. FIG. 4 shows the reflector in side view, FIG. 5 is a section along line 5-5 of FIG. 2.
In the drawing, 1 is the one on the. Projection tube attached to the front of the lantern body, which receives the light source, in the exemplary embodiment an electric incandescent lamp 2, and a reflector 3.
For this purpose, a tightly closing tube 4 is inserted into the tube 1, which is supported against the front end wall of the tube 1 with an outwardly protruding bead 5. In the tube 4, a ring 6, secured against twisting by a nose 11 of the tube 4 sliding into a groove 12 'of the same, is axially displaceable and through which a tubular extension 7 of the reflector 3 is passed. This pipe socket 7 is fastened in the ring 6 and accommodates the lamp 2, which is arranged eccentrically to the side of the central axis of the reflector 3 and in a bearing 8 rotatable in the pipe socket 7, so that it is brought into a suitable position relative to the reflector by turning in the axial direction can be, and the light beam, as shown in FIG. 3, is given an elliptical cross section.
The reflector 3 is a hollow paraboloid, the axis of which is inclined relative to the plane of projection and the axis of the tube 1. An auxiliary reflector 9, which is provided with a passage opening 10 for the light beam and is fixedly arranged in the tube 4, adjoins it in an axial extension towards the front. The mutual position of these two reflectors is determined by the fact that reflector 3 is only axially displaceable, but not rotatable.
The front end of the tube 1 is closed by a cap 13 with a protective disk 14, in front of which the frame 16 for the film 15 is located.
