Abstract

Eine Schneidvorrichtung zur Verwendung in einem Unterwassergranulator (1), welcher einen Düsenkopf (3) mit einer um eine Mittelachse (M) des Düsenkopfs rotationssymmetrische, ins­ besondere konische Schneidfläche (31) aufweist, in welcher Düsenöffnungen (32) ausgebildet sind, weist eine Antriebswelle (6) und zumindest einen Schneidkopf (5) mit einer Vielzahl von Schneidmessem (9) zum Abschlagen von aus Düsenöffnungen (32) eines Düsenkopfs (3) aus­ tretendem, strangförmig geformten, geschmolzenem Kunststoffmaterial in Form von Granulatkömem, auf, wobei der Schneidkopf (5) einen Mechanismus aufweist, mittels welchem durch Betätigen eines Betätigungselements (83) die Vielzahl von Schneidmessem (9) gleichzeitig relativ zur Schneidfläche (31) verstellt werden können in einer jeweiligen Bewegungsrichtung (B), die eine Bewegungskomponente in radialer Richtung senkrecht zur Mittelachse (M) und eine Bewegungskomponente in axialer Richtung parallel zur Mittelachse (M) beinhaltet.
