These systems are particularly well suited to cover rectangular wall surfaces and can be used as a basis for the subject invention.

It is problematic if the surface to be covered has a different shape, since then an adjustment of the system is required at least on one side, which is associated with increased installation costs. Such a surface to be covered is often in such a way that adjoining a long section with a rectangular surface is a likewise rectangular section, which, however, has a smaller width (extension normal to the building). The object underlying the invention is to provide an improved system for covering of top wall surfaces, in which a shorter rectangular area also connects to a longer area with a rectangular area, but which has a smaller width.
