Abstract

Verfahren zur Überprüfung und gegebenenfalls zur Verbesserung eines Fahrzeugdiagnosesystems und ein Verfahren zur Steuerung eines Fehlerindikators eines Fahrzeugdiagnosesystems, insbesondere zur Steuerung einer MIL-Lampe „Malfunction Indicator Light – Motorkontrollleuchte“ eines Fahrzeuges, wobei einerseits überprüft wird, ob ein funktionstüchtiges System fälschlicherweise als nicht funktionstüchtig erkannt wird und andererseits, ob ein nicht funktionstüchtiges System fälschlicherweise als funktionstüchtig erkannt wird.
