Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Gleitelement für eine Wintersport-Gleitbahn, umfassend eine Trägersubstanz und ein auf die Trägersubstanz aufgebrachtes Gleitmaterial. Um hiervon ausgehend ein Gleitelement für eine Wintersport-Gleitbahn mit optimierten Gleiteigenschaften anzugeben, das die Ausübung von Wintersportarten unabhängig von der Jahreszeit ermöglicht, und das darüber hinaus einfach und kostengünstig zu fertigen ist, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass das Gleitmaterial ein kristallwasserhaltiges Salz oder Salzgemisch enthält, das eine Kristallwasser-Umwandlungstemperatur im Bereich von 15 °C bis 45 °C aufweist, und dass die Konzentration des Salzes oder Salzgemisches im Gleitmaterial mindestens 50 Gew.-% beträgt.
