Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Single-hole burner nozzle with filter screen consisting of two parts that can be screwed on top of each other.
 EMI1.1
   karburiortom luminous gas, for lighting Zwocke and the like. It is of great importance that the gases, before they pass the fine nozzle bores, are thoroughly cleaned of all foreign bodies that have been carried away by the gas flow, otherwise these foreign bodies get into the bores and disturbances cause.

   The facilities that have existed up to now, which are intended to purify or filter the gas, either form part of the gas system itself or they are also built into the burners in the form of sieves. The former version probably cleans the gas before it gets into the utility line. However, since there are a lot of foreign bodies in the line itself, which are carried along when the gas flows through to the burner, it is easy to see that this type of gas filtration is of little or no value for the individual burner. The second device in use, which is intended to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies, consists of sieves which are inserted into the burner.

   These also fail to achieve their purpose, as the sieves are much too wide and as a result allow fine dust particles or gas contamination to pass through unhindered. Since the line cross-section is also reduced at the point where the sieve is located, the gas flow takes on a greater speed as it flows through the sieve, whereby the small particles are carried away even more easily; Furthermore, the screen also reduces the pressure at the nozzle opening.

   All of these inconveniences are intended to be avoided by the present invention, which is shown in section in FIG. 1 and in plan view in FIG.
 EMI1.2
 and upper part are screwed together by means of a thread 4, namely a filter paper 2 or the like with the finest possible pores is pressed gas-tight between the grooved surfaces. The lower part 1 is by means of. Thread 5 attached to the lighting fixture.

   The upper part 3 is designed at the same time as a burner nozzle 6 'and the thread 7 located on the same serves to accommodate the mixing tube. If the filter is to be used with existing glow light burners which are already provided with a nozzle, the upper part 3 is fitted with a Provide the corresponding threaded connection and enlarge the nozzle bore C. The same applies to open burners.
