Jugularis Externa Funktions Fixateur (kurz gesprochen „JEFF“)Jugularis Externa Function Fixator (in short "JEFF")

The invention relates to a fixation of a venous indwelling cannula placed in the external jugular vein.

Das Problem das dadurch entsteht ist Folgendes.:The problem that arises is the following:

If the venous retention channel is placed and protected from dirt with Venflon pegs, a problem arises because the tip of the venous indwelling cannula is obstructed in the interior of the vein, so that it is not possible to use the full volume of the respective cannula, but it is often vital for the patient can be! So far, the problem has been solved so that the venous cannula with additional tape strips up to the ear had to be stretched, but this always presents difficulties because almost every patient begins to sweat in surgery and the effectiveness of the patch fixation could not last long. In case of accidents on the road, the injured are usually overflowed with blood so that this fixation is not applicable.

With my invention, some problems are solved at once:

Es wird der Bügel um das Ohr gelegt und die verstellbare Schiene an der Venenverweilkanüle eingeklipst die schon mit Kanülenpflastem fixiert ist Durch leichtes spannen der Schiene abwärts in Richtung Thorax, kann man einen leichten Zug auf dieThe temple is placed around the ear and the adjustable rail is clipped to the venous indwelling cannula which is already fixed with cannula pegs. By slightly tensioning the splint downwards in the direction of the thorax, one can make a light pull on the

Cannula, the cannula tip is removed from the venom wall and the full amount of cannula volume can be exploited.

In addition, a much greater stability is achieved, which facilitates the injection of medication.

Furthermore, there is the problem that some injured suffer a cardiac arrest and this must of course be resuscitated.

If a cannula is now placed in the jugular, the infusion is connected, but the patient requires electric shocks to bring the patient's heart back to work, during this period, no one except the emergency doctor should touch the patient. As a result, no infusion can get into it. Since the blood loss of the patient requires a certain balance of fluid, this can have serious consequences. Again, my invention would be of great use.

In operations itself, there are except gas anesthesia also still "TIVAs" (Total Intra Venous Analgesia), ie: It is additionally administered for infusion with perfusors: sleeping pills and painkillers. Is it again the case that the cannula is not sufficiently fixed so that no volume can be achieved, this has the consequence that there may be a jam of these two drugs, the patient is given a bolus ie: as the medication in the Infüsionsleitung stowing back, the patient does not get anesthesia for a short period of time, but this does not affect him.

If the flow rate is corrected by a slight pull on the infusion line, the patient is given a larger dose of sleep and painkillers. This can lead to a slight drop in blood pressure. The surgeon needs to be able to carry out an operation without problems but constant blood pressure.

Mit dem „JEFF“ erfolgt die TIVA (Total Intra Venöse Analgesie) völlig problemlos. With the "JEFF" TIVA (Total Intra Venous Analgesia) is done without any problems.

I hope I was able to give them detailed explanations about my invention, which made the necessity and effectiveness of this Jugularis Extema Function Fixator (in short: "JEFF") understandable.
