Open-end spinning device with a driven spinning rotor
The invention relates to an open-end spinning device with a driven spinning rotor, wherein the spinning rotor has a rotor cup and a rotor shaft, wherein the spinning rotor is mounted on its rotor shaft in at least one radial bearing and wherein the spinning rotor from the front edge of the rotor cup to the beginning of the radial bearing has to be measured overhang.
For the spinning rotors in such open-end spinning devices today in practice speeds in the order of 180 000 min <"1> are sought.
For the achievable with the spinning rotor speed essentially the critical speed is decisive, because due to the safety, the operating speed must always be below the critical speed.
From DE 197 29 941 A1 measures are known to increase the critical speed. For example, it is stated that the length of the rotor shaft should be about ten times its diameter.
However, the specified measures are not sufficient to achieve speeds above 150 000 min <"1>.
The invention is based on the object to further increase the critical speed, thereby enabling operating speeds of 180 000 min <"1>.
The object is achieved in that the overhang is less than 29 mm, in particular less than 27 mm.
It has been shown that the overhang of the spinning rotor has a very strong influence on the height of the critical speed. Even a small reduction of the overhang causes a strong increase in the critical speed.
The overhang of the spinning rotor should be defined as the distance of the leading edge of the spinning rotor to the beginning of the radial bearing. It is irrelevant how the radial bearing is designed.
It can be, for example, a support disk pair, an air bearing, a magnetic bearing or a roller bearing.
In the spinning rotors usually used a rotor cup is pressed onto a rotor shaft, so that a very large part of this overhang is required for the press connection. When shortening the length of the press connection must be ensured that the press connection can not solve even at the extremely high speeds of the spinning rotor. By carrying out experiments in conjunction with FEM calculations, the length of the press connection could be greatly reduced. Depending on the type of connection, overhangs in the range of 15 to 20 mm can be achieved.
By the Applicant for many years offered open-end spinning machine with the type designation R20 is an overhang of the spinning rotor of 29.5 mm state of the art.
However, the known spinning machine was unsuitable for such high speeds, since the spinning rotor with a very large overall length of 117 mm, despite the slight overhang had a relatively low critical speed.
Extensive tests with a spinning rotor, which can be driven by a tangential belt resting against the rotor shaft, have shown that it is advantageous to achieve a high critical speed that the product of the overhang in millimeters and the diameter of the rotor shaft in the area of the tangential belt in millimeters less than 250. In the hitherto known open-end spinning devices, the product of overhang and diameter of the rotor shaft was always over 250. In the case of the already mentioned R20 machine, for example, it was 266.
In the experiments it has been shown that the empirically determined indicator can serve as a product of overhang and diameter to describe the relationships. With a size of the ratio of less than 250, a good compromise results from contradictory requirements. For the highest possible critical speed, it would be useful to provide the smallest possible overhang and at the same time the largest possible diameter of the rotor shaft. Too large a diameter of the rotor shaft, however, leads to an inadmissible increase in the running speed of the belt in a tangential belt driving the rotor shaft. Furthermore, with a larger diameter of the rotor shaft, increased power losses occur, for example as a result of increased friction in the radial bearings of the spinning rotor.
The tests confirmed that with overhang numbers multiplied by diameters in the range of 200 to 230, the critical speeds are so high that operating speeds of 180,000 rpm <1> can be achieved well.
The invention further relates to a spinning rotor for such an open-end spinning device with a rotor cup and a rotatably connected rotor shaft. According to the invention, it is provided that the product of the length of the rotor cup in millimeters and of the diameter of the rotor shaft in millimeters is less than 195, preferably in the range of 170 to 190.
Such a spinning rotor can be used advantageously in an open-end spinning device which can be operated at operating speeds of 180,000 rpm.
A further optimization of the open-end spinning device for particularly high operating speeds can be achieved if the product of overhang in millimeters and the entire length of the spinning rotor is less than 3000.
In the spinning rotor, it is advantageous if the product of the length of the rotor cup in millimeters and of the entire length of the spinning rotor in millimeters is less than 2400.
Further advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment.
Show it:
Figure 1 is a partially sectioned side view of the area of
2 shows a view along the cut surface II-II of FIG. 1. FIG.
The open-end spinning device only partially shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially shows a spinning rotor 1 which is mounted in a support disk bearing 2 and can be driven by a tangential belt 3. The spinning rotor 1 has a rotor cup 4 in which the actual yarn formation process takes place.
The rotor cup 4 are assigned to this in a manner not shown, but known per se means for supplying individual fibers and facilities for the withdrawal of the spun yarn from the rotor cup 4.
The support disk bearing 2 contains two support disk pairs 5 and 6, each with two support disks 7 and 8 or 9 and 10. The support disk pairs 5 and 6 form wedge gaps 11, in which a rotor shaft 12 attached to the rotor shaft 12 of the spinning rotor 1 is radially mounted. Each located on one side next to the rotor shaft 12 supporting discs 7 and 9 or 8 and 10 are arranged on a common axis 13 and 14 respectively.
The support disks 7, 8, 9 and 10 are formed substantially the same. They each consist of a metallic disk-like Grundkö [phi] he 15, the outer periphery is provided with a damping-capable race 16.
The four races 16 each form a cylindrical running surface 17 for the rotor shaft 12 of the spinning rotor 1. Here, one or more grooves in the tread 17 may be provided in a manner not shown, but known per se.
The rotor shaft 12 of the spinning rotor 1 is loaded with the tangential belt 3, which passes in the running direction A in the longitudinal direction of the open-end spinning machine and thereby drives the spin rotors 1 at least one side of the machine. Due to the pressure of the tangential belt 3, the spinning rotors 1 are held in the wedge gaps 11 of the support disk bearing 2. The end facing away from the rotor plate 4 18 of the rotor shaft 12 is supported in the axial direction against a thrust bearing 19. This thrust bearing 19 may include a track bearing ball 20 in the manner shown, against which the end 18 of the rotor shaft 12 starts.
The thrust bearing 19 may, however, alternatively be designed as an air bearing or magnetic bearing as well.
The support disks 7, 8, 9 and 10 are each provided with a bore, with which they are attached to the pins 21, 22, 23 and 24 formed end portions of the axes 13 and 14. The outer diameter of the pins 21, 22, 23 and 24 corresponds in each case to the diameter of the bore of the respective support disk 7, 8, 9 and 10. The axle 13 or 14 is part of a rolling bearing unit 25 or 26. The rolling bearing unit 25 or 26 includes a bearing housing 27 and 28, in which the axle 13 and 14 is mounted.
The spinning rotor 1 is cantilevered in the support disk bearing 2, wherein the spinning rotor 1 has an overhang X.
The overhang X is measured from the front edge 29 of the rotor cup 4 to the beginning of the radial bearing, which is formed here by the support disk pair 5. The overhang X is less than 29 mm, preferably less than 27 mm. The product of the overhang X in millimeters multiplied by the diameter D of the rotor shaft 12 in millimeters is less than 250, but preferably is in the range of 200 to 230. If the rotor shaft 12 in a manner not shown different diameters, so is the diameter D. in the area of the tangential belt 3 authoritative. It is expedient if the diameter D is in the range of 7.8 to 8.3 mm.
It is advantageous that the product of overhang X in millimeters and the total length L of the spinning rotor 1 in millimeters is less than 3000, and preferably between 2500 and 2900.
The length of the spinning rotor 1 is to be measured from its front edge 29 to the end 18 of the rotor shaft 12. Preferably, the length L is in the range of 90 to 105 mm.
For fixing the rotor cup 4 to the rotor shaft 12, the length Y of the rotor cup 4 is important. The product of the length Y of the rotor cup 4 in millimeters and of the diameter D of the rotor shaft 12 in millimeters is less than 195 and is preferably in the range between 170 and 190. The product of the length Y of the rotor cup 4 in millimeters and from the entire Length L of the spinning rotor 1 in millimeters is less than 2400 and is preferably in the range between 2000 and 2300.
By means of said combinations of overhang X, length L, diameter D and length Y, very high operating speeds in the range of 180,000 rpm <1> can be achieved with the spinning rotor 1.
In a further embodiment of the invention can be provided to optimize the support disk bearing 2 for the said high operating speeds and to minimize the friction losses occurring therein. To increase the friction losses in the races 16 of the support disks 7, 8, 9 and 10, it may be advantageous that the width B5 of the support disks 7, 8 of the rotor plate 4 facing support disk pair 5 is greater than the width B6 of the support disks 9, 10 of the rotor plate 4 facing away from the support disk pair 6.
This embodiment is based on the finding that due to the flying support of the spinning rotor 1, the bearing load of the rotor bearing 4 facing radial bearing and thus the supporting disk pair 5 is substantially greater than the load of the support disk pair 6. Due to the smaller width B6 of the support disks 9 and 10, the losses in the race 16 of the support disk pair 6 are minimized. The width B5 of the support disks 7, 8 of the support disk pair is about 10 mm, while the width B6 of the support disks 9, 10 of the support disk pair is about 7 mm.
In order to further minimize the power loss required for driving the support disk bearing 2, it can be provided that the rolling bearing of the rolling bearing unit 25 and 26 facing the rotor disk 4 has a larger diameter than the rolling bearing facing away from the rotor disk 4.
The smaller the diameter of a rolling bearing, the lower the friction losses.
It is advantageous that the two pins 21 and 23 of the axis 13 of the rolling bearing unit 25 have different diameters. The holes in the support disks 7 and 9 are of course adapted to the different diameters of the pins 21 and 23, so that a faulty mounting of the support disks 7 and 9 on the axis 13 is prevented. The pins 22 and 24 of the other rolling bearing unit 26 may of course be designed analog. The diameters of the pins 21, 22, 23 and 24 are preferably less than 10 mm and in the range of about 8 to 9 mm. The difference between the diameter of the pin 21 and 23 or 22 and 24 is about 0.5 to 1 mm. As a result, swapping the support disks 7 and 9 or 8 and 10 is safely excluded.
