Der Pflug ermöglicht ein rasches Wenden des Malzes, da der Arbeiter an einem Ende des Haufens angelangt bloss den Pflug umkehrt und sogleich ohne Vornahme be- sonderer Einstellarbeiten in entgegengesetzter Richtung pflügen kann. Es sind deshalb auch keine geschulten Arbeitskräfte zum Malzwenden erforderlich und trotzdem ist die geleistete Arbeitsmenge grösser, wozu auch das geringe Gewicht des Pnuges beiträgt.
