   Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine   Schutzvorrichtung an Strassen-   bahnwagen und besteht im wesentlichen aus einer an einer an der Stirnseite des Wagens angeordneten, federnden   einknickbaren   Platte, deren horizontale Plattform im eingeknickten Zustande durch eine Walze am Boden geführt ist.

   Die Schutzvorrichtung besteht aus einer am   Wagengestell   a befestigten Platte b. an   welcher   eine kürzere Platte c angeschraubt ist. Letztere ist mittels Schal nieren mit einer zweiten Platte d verbunden und diese mit einer dritten Platte e. Das Scharnier zwischen den Platten d und e ist derart ausgebildet, dass die Platte e in bestimmter Entfernung über der Fahrbahn gehalten wird. Am vorderen Ende der Platte e ist der ganzen   ho'its   nach eine Walze ze f befestigt. Die Platte d wird durch Federn g in entsprechender   Ent-   fernung von der Platte b gehalten und sind die Platten c,   d   und e mit einem elastischen weichen   Gummiüberzug   h versehen. 



   Trifft die Schutzvorrichtung auf einen in der Bahn befindlichen Widerstand auf, so wird das von den Platten d und e gebildete Knie unter Überwindung der Federkraft 9 weiter eingeknickt, die Walze f berührt die Erde und die sonst gefährdete Person kommt auf die Platte e zu liegen (Fig. 3).
