Daohpappennagll.

Daohpappennagll.
The tarred or asphalt roofing paper sheets are attached to the roof shell by means of thin nails. The disadvantage of these nails is, on the one hand, that the thin head plate is already. breaks easily when hammering in, but on the other hand rusts through on the roof after a short time and in strong winds the rusted, often even the current nail head is easily broken off and the cardboard torn open. The subject of the present invention is a nail which does not adhere to these disadvantages.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in longitudinal section and in plan view. The invention consists in that the central part of the head b of the known nail is provided with a hemispherical or spherical section-shaped reinforcement c, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the pin a. As a result, the blows always fall centrally on the nail when hammering in, furthermore the nail head becomes stronger than with the known flat-headed nails, and it cannot be broken off so easily when hammered in or later by the wind, all the more so than the same can rust through quickly. This nail can of course also be used for other purposes.
