Bei Ingangsetzung der Maschine erfolgt, zufolge Weiterführung des Wickelkopfes in Richtung des in Fig. 1 eingetragenen Pfeiles, das Aufwickeln des zwischen den Wickelrollen des Wickelkopfes sich hindurchführenden (in Fig. 1 nicht dargestellten) Metallbandes in der aus Fig, 3 ersichtlichen Weise, bis der Wickelkopf bei dem Klemmkopf   l'angelangt ist.

   Hierauf   werden die Klemmköpfe r,   1'1 gelockert,   worauf der fertig armierte Kabelteil mittels der Aufwickelrolle bl aufgewickelt, und der Wickelkopf zurückgeführt werden kann, um den nunmehr zwischen den Klemmköpfen liegenden neuen Kabelteil in der beschriebenen Weise umwickeln zu können. 



   Selbstverständlich können an Stelle von Kabeln auch andere seilähnliche Körper mit der beschriebenen Maschine umwickelt werden.
