Method for replacing gas losses in balloons.

The subject matter of the present invention is a method which is intended to make it possible to create a suitable gas to replace gas losses in the balloon in aircraft which are connected to a balloon and are driven by one or more explosion motors.

The method is based on the knowledge that, in addition to carbon dioxide and water vapors, there are not inconsiderable amounts of light hydrocarbons in the engine's exhaust gases, which result from the decomposition of the hydrocarbons used to feed the engines
 EMI1.1
gel) have been formed. The quantities of hydrocarbons produced in this way are sufficient for the purpose in question of replacing gas losses, since they are produced continuously, especially during the operation of the aircraft.

In order to make the exhaust gases suitable for the present purpose, it is usually more advisable to free them of tarry constituents, carbonic acid and water vapor, which can be done in a known way, for example by sliding the exhaust gases through lime deposits. At best, the exhaust gases can also be used directly without prior decoupling if it is a question of preventing the balloon envelope from forming, even with minor damage to the load-bearing capacity. In this case it is better, either to fill up the balloon directly or to fill up the inflatable bodies inside the balloon, to hcnut / exhaust gases. cn instead of air, because by Diffusionon respectively.

Mixture between the exhaust gases and the contents of the balloon, under no circumstances can explosive gas mixtures form.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for replacing gas losses hot air balloons driven by explosion engines, characterized in that exhaust gases from the engine are fed to the gas content of the balloon or the inflatable bodies arranged in the balloon.

**WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. 2. An embodiment of the method according to claim 1, characterized in that the exhaust gases before their introduction into the balloon or into the inflatable body of the specifically heavy components, such as tar, water, carbonic acid, by a known Wise cleaning to be done. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may overlap beginning of DESC **.
