   Sobald das Becken voll ist, bewirken die   aufgelagerten Wasserschichten ein Abfliessen   der an tiefster Stelle des Beckens sich befindlichen dichten Flüssigkeit durch den niedriger als die Beckenwand gehaltenen Überlauf und da die   Wasserzuführung   nur langsam vor sich geht, erfolgt auch das Abdrängen der bereits unbrauchbar gewordenen dichten Röstflüssigkeit nur   langsam   und werden daher keine wirksamen Stoffe mitgerissen.
