The invention relates to a throttle valve with a valve body which can be adjusted coaxially to a valve seat within a valve chamber by means of a valve spindle and at least one inlet opening into this valve chamber, the valve seat being formed by an annular flange projecting into the valve chamber.

Such a throttle valve has become known inter alia from DE-A-1 919731. This is an independent screw-down shut-off valve fitting in which the collar of the valve seat is first penetrated by the inflowing water. After passing the annular gap on the end face of the collar, the water on the valve body flows into the drain chamber of the valve and leaves it radially.
 EMI1.1
 according to the water flow.

In such valves, a flow vortex forms in the valve chamber, the core of which is the valve body.

The object of the invention is to carry out the design of such a valve in such a streamlined manner that
 EMI1.2
! ! Flow rate reliably prevented wM, Provided that the ring flange extends axially into the area of the inlet
According to the invention, in order to achieve these tasks in a throttle valve of the generic type mentioned at the outset, the valve seat is formed by an annular flange which projects into the valve chamber and extends axially into the region of the inlet.
This ensures that the valve body, with the correct adjustment of its shape and its dimensions to the diameter of the valve seat, divides the inlet water flow so harmoniously and directs it to the outlet that all of the above-mentioned disadvantages are largely prevented.

An embodiment of the subject of the invention is in the only Zeic! muagsSgux illustrated in section.
 EMI1.3

Part of a so-called! ! Wassefschalfs and em dam veirsshaustret.

The amount of water is determined by the position of the valve body (6) in relation to the valve seat (10), and the largest diameter of the valve body (6) is only slightly larger than the inside diameter of the valve seat
 EMI1.4
The axial area of the valve chamber (3), which is determined by the passage cross section of the inlet (7), is adjustable in such a way that the entering water - as indicated by arrows - flows into the outlet (9) on both sides of the valve body (6) and a vortex in the valve chamber (3) forms, at the core of which the Vsnti! köfpcr (6) is located.

The fact that the part of the valve body (6) facing the valve seat (M) is dome-shaped and the valve seat (10) is angular and slightly chamfered, which reliably prevents the risk of a stall.

According to the invention, the ring flange (11), which forms the valve seat (10) and extends axially into the valve chamber (3) and extends into the area of the inlet (7)
Of course, various configurations of the throttle valve are conceivable within the scope of the invention; For example, the valve chamber with a plastic material that influences the degree of roughness of this wall
