Druckminderer für Ausläufe mit hohem Wasserdruck.
 EMI1.1

Pressure reducer for spouts with high water pressure.
 EMI1.1
to be filled with water, because the high water velocity caused by the line pressure when it hits the bottom of the vessel or the water level in the vessel causes water to be wasted due to splashing. This void is particularly evident in the case of self-closing valves for cattle troughs, as the hissing noise produced by the high water speed and the splashing deter the animals from using the self-trough.

The present invention overcomes these inconveniences. It is based on the well-known law that the same amount of water flowing through has different speeds in pipes of different widths and further that a pressure reduction occurs due to the turbulence of the water.

In the drawing, two embodiments of the subject invention are shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows the pressure reducer attached to the spout of an outlet well and Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of the same at the inlet of a cattle self-drinking basin.

The pressure reducer according to FIG. 1 consists of the housing a, the cover b and the conductor body e. The cover and diverting body are screwed onto the discharge pipe e, which is provided with outlet openings d towards its lower end, the height of the cover being adjustable. If the water leaves the valve tube e through the openings d, it will flow along the inner wall of the diverter body c and then after eddying, which has a pressure-absorbing effect, over the edge of the diverter body through the annular gap f, which will flow within certain limits due to the rotation of the cover b can be enlarged or reduced in order to then flow out of the outflow opening g with reduced pressure according to the enlarged cross section.

Fig. 2 shows another form of pressure reducer in use with a cattle self-watering tank; It differs from that according to FIG. 1 in that the ring-shaped gap always remains the same when the diversion body is cast onto the cover and the pressure reduction is regulated by changing the flow cross-section when the outflow housing is rotated.

**WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. PATENT CLAIM: EMI1.2 which, with the cover (b) screwed onto the outflow pipe adjustably, forms a variable annular gap (f) with a larger cross-section than that of the outflow pipe, so that the water flows out of the nozzle with reduced pressure after two deflections and swirls. ** WARNING ** End of CLMS field may overlap beginning of DESC **.
