   Die Genauigkeit von Radwassermessern nimmt bekanntlich mit zunehmender Durchflussmenge des Wasser ab, so dass der Unterschied zwischen der tatsächlich durchfliessenden Wassermenge und der angezeigten umso grösser wird, je grösser die   Durchflussgeschwindig-   keit ist. Je grösser die Durchflussgeschwindigkeit des Wassers ist, desto grösser ist auch der Druckunterschied zwischen der Zulaufseite und dem Inneren der Radkammer. Vermöge dieses Druckunterschiedes werden die Kugelventil 3 gehoben, so dass auch vom Boden aus Wasser in die Radkammer strömen kann und dadurch wird der Fehler des Wassermessers beseitigt oder doch sehr wesentlich verringert. Durch den stellbaren Schieber 5 kann man den Wasserzuluss durch die Kugelventile mehr oder weniger drosseln um sonach die Genauigkeit des Wassermessers den jeweiligen Umständen entsprechend regeln. 



   Die Zahl der am Boden angeordneten Kugelventile (nach der Zeichnung 2) kann beliebig sein, jedenfalls sind aber diese Kugelventile am Umfang gleichmässig zu verteilen und deren Zuströmkanäle durch die Schieber 5 gleichmässig zu drosseln. 6 sind Querstäbchen in den Kugelventilgehäusen, welche das Herausfallen der Kugeln in bekannter Weise verhindern. 



   Ein wesentlicher und praktisch sehr wichtiger Vorteil dieser Regelungsvorrichtung ist der, dass durch die   Einströmöffnungen   am Boden die Empfindlichkeit des Wassermessers trotz Vergrösserung des freien Einströmquerschnittes nicht verringert wird, während eine entsprechende   Vergrösserung   der seitlichen Einströmöffnungen eine ansehnliche Verringerung der Empfindlichkeit nach sich ziehen würde.
