EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The invention relates to the type of compressor for gas or gas in which a pump, fan or the like sucks in the gas and leads it to an apparatus or to burners under pressure, a pressure reducing valve then arranged between the gas inlet and outlet is opened when the pressure rises too high, whereby part of the high pressure gas returns to the pump until the pressure on the discharge side of the pump is reduced, whereby the valve is closed.
Such devices have already been provided with a secondary valve so that in the event of the pump or fan stopping, the gas or air under normal pressure from the main line can pass through the valve to the devices or burners and thereby stop the devices or the The burner is prevented from going out.
The subject of the invention now forms a pressure reducing valve for devices
EMI1.2
The pressure reducing valve is arranged in a cavity (which is equipped with a valve seat) in a wall which separates two chambers from each other, one of which leads from the main line or the free air to the pump or the fan and the other the connection between the pump or the fan and produces gas appliances or burners.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 is a section through the apparatus containing the valve of a

the regulating screw q can only flow a small amount of liquid or gas into the pipe m, a pull is exerted on the valve a and the piston k, thereby keeping the valve a steady. If the gas pressure at the burners has been reduced sufficiently, the valve a sinks and closes more or less, and this decrease must happen steadily, since the liquid or the gas at the bottom of the cylinder 1 can only gradually be returned to the container, and according to the regulation of the mouth widthp of the tube m by the screw q. In this way, any bouncing of the valve on its seat is avoided.
When the pump or the fan is stopped, the valve p inside the pressure reducing valve a drops and the gas flows to the burners under normal pressure.
