  Spule.

  Kitchen sink.

The present invention relates to a coil, which is mainly intended for such material as bast tapes, electrically insulated conductor wires and the like., Which must be wound in the largest possible turns in order to avoid damage to the same.

As a result, the requirement is placed on such coils for winding cables that their webs have large diameters, but can be placed on thin axes because of the easy unwinding or winding and that they are as light and handy as possible. For bast ribbons or the like, reels with a smaller web diameter are probably used, but the same connection of web and bobbin disc can also be used for these.

For this purpose, the coil made of paper or cardboard with a tubular web of large diameter and with small openings in the coil wedges for

Spulon disks are connected to form a solid whole in that sheet metal strips are clamped in the tube wall, which protrude beyond the mouth of the tube, are inserted through slots provided in the disks and are bent down onto the disk surface.

The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of such a paper or cardboard reel in FIG. 1 in view and longitudinal section and in FIG. 2 in plan view and cross section.

The spulon tube a, which has a large diameter and is open at both ends, bears close to the latter on the inside or on the outside of the tube.

The tubular protruding strip ends d are pushed through slots that are made in the spool hubs f at corresponding points, bent over and pressed down onto the disks f.

The latter, which are each provided with a small hole 9 for inserting the axis of rotation, thus remain in an immovable fixed connection with the coil tube, without the need for wooden plugs or similar means to hold the discs on the coil tube, which not only reduce the weight the coil
