The invention relates to a switching device for controlling a synchronous sequence of the individual operations in the manufacture of wafer blocks from wafer sheets and wafer cover sheets, the wafer sheets lying on an endless conveyor belt passing through an application device for applying a filler layer application and those provided with a filler layer application on another , in the same height and direction faster rotating endless conveyor belt in a cover station and held by a deflectable stop waffle sheets with a waffle cover sheet fed by a stacking device can be occupied.
EMI1.1
Multi-layered so-called waffle block is primarily dependent on the relatively fragile waffle wrapper sheets being able to be placed quickly and yet gently in one continuous operation on the waffle sheets or waffle blocks provided with the filler layer application.
In known devices for producing covered waffle blocks, the waffle sheets are guided on a continuously running conveyor belt through a coating device, via which the
Filling layer application is applied. In a cover station, the wafer sheet provided with a filler layer application is covered with a separately supplied wafer sheet. The feeding of the
Waffle wrapper sheets are made via their own feeder device, which is arranged above the conveyor belt and is operated against the direction of transport of the conveyor belt. The
Wafer cover sheet is gripped by a holding device and aligned over the wafer sheet held in the cover station. In free fall, the waffle cover sheet falls on the ready-made waffle sheet provided with a filler layer application.
Due to the rough forwarding of the waffle cover sheets, only a small working speed can be selected, which can practically no longer be increased.
This is due to the fact that the waffle sheet provided with a filler layer application and the waffle cover sheet must be raised or lowered and that these additional movements are initiated or carried out via separate devices. These additional movements require a certain time, so that the continuous flow of waffle sheets provided with a filler layer application can only have a limited speed.
The object of the invention is to provide a switching device for controlling a synchronous sequence of the individual operations in the manufacture of waffle blocks, in which the disadvantages of known designs are avoided, the waffle blocks leaving the production device being coated precisely, having no breaks and thus malfunctions in the system exclude if possible.
According to the proposal of the invention, this is achieved in that the trigger member of a switching device protrudes into the conveyor path of the faster rotating conveyor belt and can be deflected by the wafer sheets entering the covering station and provided with a filler layer application, the switching device both driving the separating device for the Wafer cover sheets as well as the deflection of the stop that stops the coated wafer sheets and the wafer cover sheet in the cover station.
An advantageous development of the invention provides that the switching device for deflecting the stop actuates a lifting magnet which is articulated on a release lever which can be pivoted against the action of a damping spring and which has the stop designed as a finger at its front end.
According to a preferred embodiment, the switching device can additionally actuate a rotary magnet which pivots a bracket holding the retrieved waffle cover sheet in an inclined position against a stop against the action of a spring holding it against the stop with the direction of rotation directed towards lowering the waffle cover sheet held by it up to a stop , wherein the waffle cover sheet aligned at the stop lies on an underlying coated wafer sheet which is also aligned at the stop. The switching command of the switching device can be transmitted to the rotary magnet via a delay device, the delay time of which is smaller than that due to the distance between the wafer sheets provided with a filler layer application on the faster rotating conveyor belt.
The control elements of the switching device according to the invention can advantageously be easily attached in that the faster rotating endless conveyor belt consists of a plurality of individual belts which are guided at a distance from one another and each in annular grooves of the input and output rollers of the

Control of this clutch --37-- the separation conveyor --39-- can be driven optionally.
The separating conveyor belt --39-- is assigned a stacking box --41-- for waffle cover sheets, to which the waffle cover sheets of another baking machine can be fed in a manner not shown. At the
Exit slot --43-- is again arranged a singling roll --42--, which the singled
Wafer cover sheets are fed to an inclined slide --46-- with side guides --47--. The assigned acceleration brush --44-- with separate drive --45-- guides the isolated ones
Waffle wrapper sheets quickly into the filing station, where they are held at a stop as shown with --51-- and held at an incline by a bracket --32--.
Also in the area of
Storage stations are still lateral guides --57-- provided. The outlet of the waffle wrapper from the
Slide --46-- is monitored by the switching device --48--, which controls the shutdown of the separating conveyor belt --39-- by releasing the clutch --37--. The stacking box --41--, the conveyor belt --39-- and the slide --46-- form a unit that is supported on the conveyor belt support frame by means of brackets --49-- and on the frame via brackets --50-- is attached u. in the bearing axis of the drive roller of the conveyor belt --39-- can be swiveled.
The side panels of the second endless conveyor belt --10-- are connected to each other by cross braces --11-- and form lateral guides --14-- above the conveyor belt. The second too
Endless conveyor belts are guided in parallel at a distance via the input roller --13-- and the output roller --15--.
Between the individual belts of the endless conveyor belt --10-- a shift finger --25-- protrudes into the
Conveyor path, which through the incoming waffle sheets provided with a filling layer application or
Wafer blocks is deflected. A switching device --27-- is actuated via the transmission element --26--. This switching device --27-- controls the release of another waffle cover sheet from the
Stacking box --41-- by engaging the clutch --37--. At the same time, a lifting magnet --30-- is actuated, which deflects the stop projecting as a stop finger --28-- into the conveyor path of the endless conveyor belt --10--. The stop fingers --28-- held in the initial position by the damping spring --31-- are attached to the release lever --29--, which can be pivoted --30-with the solenoid. In addition, the bracket --32-- is pivoted via the switching device --27-- via the rotary magnet --35--, so that the inclined waffle cover sheet --51-- is released.
This bracket --32-- is held by a spring against the stop --33--. The rotary magnet --35-swivels the bracket --32-- clockwise until it stops --34--. The distance of the bracket --32-- to the stop --28-- is selected so that it is slightly smaller than the width of the transverse waffle cover sheet --51--. The swivel range of the bracket --32-- can then be kept small to release the waffle cover sheet --51--. These switching commands of the switching device --27-- are delayed by a delay device so that the waffle sheet --53-- or waffle block that enters the capping station and has a filling layer --52-- raises the ready waffle cover sheet --51 and can align itself with this at the stop --28--.
The waffle cover sheets are therefore called up in synchronism with the release of the further transport of the finished waffle block from the stacking box --41. Calling up the waffle sheets is acknowledged by the switching device --48-- in the area of the slide. The waffle cover sheets are fed in the direction of transport to the endless conveyor belt --10--, whereby the feeder path itself forms an inclined plane that ends directly in the depositing station. This enables a faster operating process to be achieved. The inclined waffle cover sheet can also be removed from the bracket --32-- by increasing the adhesive effect of the filler layer application, which can then be attached rigidly.
The exit area of the second endless conveyor belt --10-- is again held at work height by supports --24--, which is the same for the two continuous conveyor belts connected in series --10 and 22.
The output roller --15-- of the second endless conveyor belt --10-- has drive wheels --16-- outside the conveyor track, which are connected via a chain or belt drive --17-- to the drive wheel of a common drive motor --18 - are engaged. The scraper --54-- keeps parts of waffle sheets away from the return run of the endless conveyor belt --10--.

Feeding other waffle sheets and waffle cover sheets can also be easily switched to another product without the need for new facilities. If the system is designed for the production of multilayer waffle blocks with a certain number of waffle sheets, then waffle blocks with a smaller number of waffle sheets can also be produced if the production line is only partially used. In extreme cases, even the individual devices can be operated individually at the same time.
