The invention relates to a slat profile for gates that can be rolled up with interlocking coupling means attached to the longitudinal edges to produce an articulated connection with the slats adjacent on both sides, the middle piece of the slat profile connecting the two coupling means being shaped according to a twice angled line and in the closed state of the Gate is parallel to its plane. The gates, which are composed of such slats, are wound onto a drum attached to the top when they open, to which the top slat is attached and which is provided with a rotary drive.
It is the object of the invention to create such a lamellar profile for roller doors that clings better to the drum than the known profiles, in that the circumscribed circle protrudes less than the known profile (DE-OS 2109838) with an inclined piece attached only on one side.
This aim is achieved according to the invention in that the middle piece is adjoined on both sides by an inclined edge piece inclined at an angle between 20 and 40, the length of which, measured in cross section, to the length of the middle piece in a ratio of 1: 3 to 1: 1.35 stands.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows: the lamellar profile in full lines and on both sides adjoining sections of the lamellar profiles coupled therewith in dash-dotted lines.
The lamellar profile has a coupling part --1, 2 - at both ends, which essentially has the shape of a quarter circle sector open on one side. The coupling part --1-- is much smaller
EMI1.1
(in the drawing below) the slats are in a common plane (closed position of the door) and in the other position (in the drawing above) the slats are in the rolled-up position (open door).
The main part of the lamellar profile between the coupling pieces 1 and 2 consists of a middle piece - 3 - which, in the closed position of the door, lies parallel to its plane and two adjacent sloping edge pieces - 4 and 4 '-, which are much shorter. With a total effective profile height h of 125 mm (as it is appropriate e.g. for goals with a width of 5 to 10 m) the height a of the middle section is 82 mm and the height b of the inclined edge sections projected onto the plane of the middle section - -4, 4 '- 21.5 mm each. With these slats, 8 pieces together add up to a height of 1 m. The depth t is usefully 30 mm and the wall thickness 1.7 mm.
The dead weight is 7.5 kp / m2.
Smaller dimensions are used for goals up to a width of 5 m: height a of the middle part 54, 66 mm, height b of the projection of the edge pieces each 14, 33 mm, total height h is 83, 33 mm.
In this design, 12 slats result in a height of 1 m. The depth t is 25 mm, the wall thickness 1.0 to 1.2 mm and the dead weight 7.2 kp / m2. Of course, other designs with other sizes are also possible, but the values given have been tried out as favorable designs.
At a suitable distance from the middle piece --3--, inwardly protruding approaches --6-- are preferably attached to the lamellar profile, which serve to attach a heat-insulating insert --7--,
EMI1.2
B. Approaches --6-- is used. If the slats are to be provided with cut-outs to allow light to enter, further, inwardly protruding lugs --9-- are attached just behind the middle piece --3--, behind which a sheet made of flexible or translucent plastic --10- is inserted .
It can be seen from the drawing that the lamella profiles according to the invention, which are pivoted together for rolling up, because of their shape, cling to a winding shaft --11-- which, with an effective total height of the lamella h = 125 mm, a diameter 0 of only 159 mm has what can be described as an extremely small value for this slat height (8 profiles per 1 m). Correspondingly favorable values are also obtained for the diameter of the fully rolled-up door, since the profiles are also ideally connected to the previously rolled-up position of the profiles.
EMI1.3
Aluminum can be produced in the continuous casting process and is therefore cheaper to manufacture compared to similar cold-rolled aluminum profiles.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The roller shutter shown can be used with a slat height of 125 mm to 10 m width without storm hooks. However, it can also be used for small goals because it can be wound onto shafts with a diameter of 159 mm. As a result, these roller doors made of continuously cast aluminum are also competitive with cold-rolled steel profile doors. The previous advantage of the relatively small roll diameter of the cold-rolled steel profiles is compensated for.
