Dampf-Zylinderentwässerungs-Ventil mit Drucksteuerung bei einer durchgehenden
Druckleitung.

Steam cylinder drainage valve with pressure control with a continuous
Pressure line.
The invention relates to a steam cylinder drainage valve, mainly for locomotives, which can be opened by means of a pressure line from the driver's cab by air or steam pressure. The invention consists in that the design of the valve makes it possible to connect several valves to only one continuous pressure line, so that a linkage or special supply and discharge pipes are completely omitted, whereby access to the bearings of the machine is facilitated.
The drawing shows such a drainage valve to be actuated by steam or compressed air with a continuous line in an upright central section.
EMI1.1
To enable easy wrench, a Kegelventil c is arranged, which is pressed by the steam pressure in the cylinder against its seat surface d, that is, closed, with a spring k being provided, which tends to open this valve. Under the valves c
EMI1.2
to open.
The supply line h is placed under the steam pressure or air pressure required to control the valve.
EMI1.3
The pressure prevailing in the cylinder causes valve c to close and to close outlet opening e. while the water drain valve g rises due to the action of its spring i, so that the line h is drained.
