Verfahren zur Herstellung von sogenannten Bionenkorbkühlern durch Elektrolyse.
Die sogenannten Bienenkorbkühler haben gewöhnlich eine solche Tiefe, dass man, falls sie auf elektrolytischem Wege hergestellt werden, stabförmige Anoden verwenden muss, die man im Inneren der Rohre der Form anordnet. Tut man das nicht, so wird der Elektrolyt im Inneren dieser Rohre so geschwächt, dass er rasch unfähig wird, einen genügenden metallischen Niederschlag zu liefern, was zur Folge hat, dass sich der Niederschlag nicht im Inneren der Rohre, sondern nur an den äussersten Enden derselben bildet.
Die Notwendigkeit, von stabförmigen Kupferanoden Gebrauch machen zu müssen, verursacht eine empfindliche Erhöhung der Herstellungskosten der Kühler, da man die verschiedenen Knpferstäbe wesentlich länger machen muss als die Form tief ist.
Die Erfindung bezweckt, diesen Ubelstand zu beseitigen. Zur Erreichung dieses Zweckes werden die Kühler aus drei oder mehr Elementen gebildet, von welchen jedes z. B. ein Drittel der ganzen Tiefe besitzt. Diese Tiefe ist so gering, dass man nicht innere Anoden zu verwenden braucht. Um den Kühler zu bilden, werden dann die drei oder mehr Elemente übereinander angeordnet. Hierauf verlötet man sie ganz herum so miteinander, dass das Kühlwasser oder Heizdampf nicht in die Zwischenräume zwischen zwei Elemente eintreten und sich nicht mit der Kühl-oder Heizluft mischen kann. Die ganze Einrichtung wird in ein geeignetes Uehäu. sc eingeschlossen.
Man erhält hiedurch Kühler, deren Herstellungspreis sehr gering ist.

The so-called beehive coolers are usually so deep that, if they are made electrolytically, one has to use rod-shaped anodes which are placed inside the tubes of the mold. If this is not done, the electrolyte inside these tubes is so weakened that it quickly becomes incapable of delivering a sufficient metallic deposit, with the result that the deposit is not inside the tubes, but only at the extreme ends the same forms.
The necessity of having to make use of rod-shaped copper anodes causes a significant increase in the production costs of the cooler, since the various button rods have to be made much longer than the shape is deep.
The invention aims to eliminate this disadvantage. To achieve this purpose, the coolers are formed from three or more elements, each of which z. B. has a third of the entire depth. This depth is so shallow that it is not necessary to use internal anodes. To form the cooler, the three or more elements are then placed one above the other. They are then soldered to one another all the way around so that the cooling water or heating steam cannot enter the spaces between two elements and cannot mix with the cooling or heating air.
