The subject of the invention is an aerial imaging device, in particular for tethered balloons, for setting the recording direction of a camera by means of a cable pull and a winch.
A device is known for setting the direction of a camera rotatable about a vertical axis on kites or tethered balloons, characterized by a cord roller which carries the suspension device of the camera and which is rotatably attached to a disc and adjustable by means of a cord which is attached to the disc via a roller and rollers are guided downward on a frame supporting the entire device.
According to the invention, a support tube is attached to the camera to hold the camera and a support bracket is attached to it by means of two side brackets, and the two ends of the support tube have eyelets through which the rope runs, which is provided for holding and directing and runs on the floor through two variably adjustable floor brackets, whereby the ends of the rope open onto the winch. The connection between the balloon and the aerial imaging device is made by means of a freely rotating snap hook.
The advantages over the known device result from the better directional retention of the camera even in windy conditions, the change in direction independent of the end of the cord, the prevention of twisting between the tether and the rotating cord and the avoidance of the frame image in the camera field.
The invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
The invention, hereinafter referred to as "aerial photography device", shows the device in question in the high position in FIG. A camera-l-in horizontal position is drawn under the balloon --2-. The angle (between the lines -r 'and r "-) represents the opening angle of a normal camera. The line-m-shows the focal line of the camera. The foreground of the image is -A--.
The distance between the floor and the camera - l - is the designation The position of the tether - 3--. The distance - a - between the rope - 3 - and the foreground of the image --A-- is related to the height - h--.
Fig. 2 shows the pivoting of the camera - 1 - with the same high position of the aerial imaging device as in Fig. 1, with a changed camera position and the focal line - m - to the ground point --A'-. 3 shows the aerial image device from above with a horizontal camera. The adjustment possibility of the camera - l - is indicated by - y -. The adjustable winch - 7--
