Nachdem das Holz von der Feuchtigkeit befreit wurde, wird das siedende Öl aus den Zylindern abgelassen und die Luft aus letzteren ausgepumpt, wodurch auch die Poren des Holzes luftleer gemacht werden. Hierauf wird in die Zylinder kaltes Öl gepresst, das vorteilhaft unter einen Druck von 8-10 Atm, gesotzt, in die Poren des Holzes eindringt und das Holz imprägniert.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zum Imprägnieren von Holz durch aufeinanderfolgende Behandlung desselben mit einem heissen und einem kalten Bade und unter Anwendung des Vakuums behufs Entfernung von Luft und Feuchtigkeit aus dem Holze, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Holz sowohl im heissen Ölbade, wie auch nach dem Ablassen des Öles dem Vakuum ausgesetzt wird, worauf das kalte Imprägnieröl in bekannter Weise in das Holz eingepresst wird.

1.
